Still in the closet at 23, but I think I might be coming out soon. Very conservative, religious, and gay-hating extended family, but in all honesty, I don't care about people who will disown me over this, they aren't worth having as family anyway. And some of them certainly will. Parents know already, and are disapproving, but they try to ignore the issue, they love me enough to not kick me out over it. They will eventually come around I hope.
When did you come out as bisexual?

I dated another female at 14, she was actually my first sexual partner. I didn't fully come out (except to very close friends) until I dated my 2nd girlfriend when I was 17.

I did in my teens with my friends. I never came out to my family..we don't get along and I have no reason to. I had bi marked on a myspace years ago and while they were snooping around they flipped out about it.

I came out in my late teens early twenties. As I've gotten older I've been open to the new people i meet, but after my freshman year of college I started opening up to people I already knew. TO be fair there are some people in my life that still don't know.

For me it was a hell of a lot of religious programming that caused me to be so closeted. I'm wondering how others came into their sexual identities.

I was actually 12 years old when I came out as bisexual. Luckily, my mother said, "I know."

Coming out in the 90s was like
I feel there's much more acceptance now.

I came out in my young teens, but by then people had already suspected that I was bisexual and thus were okay with it.

I wouldn't say I EVER really had an official "coming out." I just decided to do things like change orientation status on my online profile and if someone asked from then on, I'd say I liked both.. yada yada

I realized that I was into girls around the same time I started being seriously into boys. I told my friends, but my parents are still completely in the dark.

came out in my 20s

I'm not sure I would describe myself as "out" even now and I'm actually quite fine with that. My SO and a few friends know and I'm more than happy to give someone a straight answer (pun totally intended) if they care to ask, but if not, I don't feel any need or desire to announce my sexual preferences to those that aren't really going to be affected by them.

I first came out when I was 12, but I got the whole "you're too young to know your orientation". So I came out again when I was 18 to everyone except my mom. My mom is a Jehovah's Witness, so I intend on coming out to her when I move out.

When I was 12 years old I realized I was open to both sexes.

I never had to come out. It has always been, lol.
