This is fairly moot because I know for a fact that people who chronically or blatantly point farm are removed/blocked/asked not to participate in the forums.

Now, there ARE people who *SEEM* like they're being genuine with their posts. I think it would depend on if they check back and respond to their threads... less

Not really, I still see plenty of people who come on simply to vote, post and comment on tons of things within minutes, and then I don't see anything else from them.

Some extreme people have been removed because they make it so obvious to everyone, but IMHO you aren't contributing to the community if all you are doing is ONLY things that will gain you points, like posting a comment on 10 different products and rating them all within 10 minutes. I see that one constantly.

And don't forget the infamout, "Following" comment on wall posts. less

I just had a thought, although I don't know how feasible it is. I love the idea of sticky posts a great deal, but if it was possible for events that are in progress like meetings, Q&As, and parties to have a flashing font (like an alert), it would draw a heck of a lot of attention to them. less

OH, okay, here's something I don't like about the new review page.

For example, on this page there's a wonderful descriptive review and I've got all kinds of questions.

Sadly, though, I don't have any indication who wrote it. No name. No picture. No link. It could be any of the reviews on that page.

For this product, it's not a big deal to read all the reviews, but on a product page with 10? 20? reviews? No.

That's strange. I voted in those polls too, but my vote didn't show up on my wall.

I'd also like the ability to edit my wall. If someone decides to lure 50 different items then I lose the ability to see previous activity from other users on my wall that I might find interesting. less

I agree with editing the wall. I use my wall to see what's happening on the forums and who has new reviews, if I'm in a review reading mood.

I have to admit, seeing an entire page and a half taken up on my wall with someone else's "in my hands now" and "just interested" bothers me a tiny bit. First of all I'm not interested (I'm such a bitch sometimes) secondly, it uses up precious space on my wall, when I want to see what discussions are hot.

I infrequently vote on lures for just this reason.

I also would like to see who wrote the descriptive reviews. I am interested. We used to be able to see, and now the information, for these often amazing reviews is gone. less

Maybe instead of just being able to remove posts, ALSO having options like:

Only show reviews.
Show reviews and forum posts.
Hide lures only.
Hide votes.


You get the drift. I like how FB lets me hide certain people, or simply hide the post. less

Okay, the way I've noticed that it works is you give a contributor a green heart. Then you can see the threads that they've posted in. You can even filter it to one contributor. HOWEVER, the last thread that they happened to post in is at the top, even if they were not the last poster. I'd like to see it that the last thread the contributor posted in is the thread that moves up top. If I wanted to follow the thread, I can mark the thread as favorite. To follow the contributor, their last post should be up top.

I wonder if either lowering the points value of starting a discussion or eliminating points would eliminate some of the repetitive posts. If there's no reward for posting yet another post on threesomes or dick sucking/cum swallowing or spanking, perhaps folks will look a little deeper for threads on the subjects. less

1. Stickies so that important threads stay at the top. Examples would include weekly Rumble voting, Roundup, etc.



2. Somehow the ability to lock old threads that are no longer relevant. Specifically, I mean things such as old Rumbles. I don;t mean this for every poll, even the very old ones, I think there is still potentially some value. But occasionally things like a Rumble from a year ago, or EF should carry from a year ago pops up. There's really no need that I can think of for these types of threads to continue being open.



3. Is it possible to filter out the folders we see on the front forum page? For example, the current threads listed are from all folders. I would love to filter out the games because to be honest, there are too many and they clog up the page as bad as spam. I think they're fine for people who want to post in them, but I'd rather they not clog my listing up.



4. Minor, but the ability to click on the lightbulb and be automatically taken to the last post I read. less

I sooo want this glitch fixed. I know that I have easily half a dozen reviews or so that only show up on my personal review list, which is quite a bit to expect anybody to try and weed through. I've done descriptive reviews that don't show my name or picture to indicate that I did it, and there are some that don't show up anywhere on the review page at all. I think it would be really great if things were coded or whatever so that no matter what category the review is, it shows up in the review list. Instead of having it be either a descriptive review or a regular review, have them all be as regular reviews with the option to highlight them as a descriptive review, like how we can do the review spotlights on the community news page. less

Maybe there is an option for this somewhere that I'm missing, so forgive me if I just haven't found it yet, but I have a really hard time following different topics. Unless I remember to subscribe to it as an RSS feed, I rarely remember to come back and see if someone has responded to what I wrote, and I'm sure I miss out on good discussions this way. I don't want to get emails every time someone responds, because then my mailbox would be overflowing. If there were a page I could go to on the Edenfastasys website where it would tell me how many posts had been made on topics I have commented on, or even tell me if someone replied to a post I made, that would be super helpful. Right now, I can see where I commented, but I have to go back to the thread to check to see if anything new has been said on the matter.

Do let me know if I'm failing to see a very helpful link that would tell me all of this. I just want a place that reminds me to check back on updated topics I've posted on, without me having to remember to "save" the thread or flood my inbox. less

Right, I did get that bit, but I don't use the feature because I still have to remember to do it. If I'm going to remember to scroll up and heart the thread, I might as well add the RSS feed to my reader to remind me of updates. I guess I'm really looking for an automatic way to remind me to check back on places I've commented, without having to hunt for updates myself. I guess maybe the RSS feed is the best option for this at the moment, but I always remember to subscribe to it AFTER I've closed the window, which doesn't help much. less

Hi! I have two suggestions for your consideration

The first is about threads that are no longer relevant. The consensus seems to be that everyone wants them deleted. What if there was an archive tab instead? Anything more than 1 month old would automatically be sent to the archive tab so that only the posts for the last 30 days or 60 days, remain on the first tab.

The second suggestion is to thread comments. You can reply to an individual in a post and a thread will start so the conversation stays relevant and easier to navigate. This would make the forum posts look neater and will be easier to communicate points or suggestions effectively.

I totally agree with this, and I think it came up on page 2 or 3 of this discussion too, when we were specifically talking about pictures. I have noticed that pictures are not dropped from replies, which is great! But still being able to choose the text would also be good. less
