I'm on the fence about pornography. I am of the generation that looked up porn freely as children, when NetNanny did not work AT ALL. I would definitely say that such extensive exposure to pornography made me bored of sex before I even tried it.

It should be the "Age of consent" in whatever state the store is in.
I know a young woman who works at Spencers, she agrees that the sex toys they sell are "crap" but she doesn't card. Why? She says, "I have three options. I can card and 1) They will simply steal the toy or something else when we are busy. 2)I can card, they don't get the toy and they might have unprotected sex, instead of using the toy or the glow in the dark rubbers or whatever or 3)I can NOT card them, let them have the toy and nobody gets hurt. What is the lesser of those three evils?"
I understand why Eden has the rule and I agree with it (a lot more explicit stuff goes on here than in Spencers) but, really, the rule at a store like Spencers is simply arbitrary, and NOBODY checks.
I remember buying Joy Jelly or Motion Lotion at Spencers when I was a kid, (it was the only place I could to go get lube, and I was on the Pill and needed it) 16 or so. Nobody carded me, but they used to yell at us if we spent too much time in the sex toy aisle.
