I got a hotel room. I decorated the rooms with candles, rose petals, had lingere, soft music, toys and some chocolate covered strawberries. Sounds romantic, right?

I got stood up and cried like a baby. The next day he finally admitted that he was with his ex. He said that they got drunk and had sex. Then he broke up with me few days later. To make matter worse, they got married a month later. I haven't celebrated Valentine's since then. That was in 2005. :-(

I got assaulted on a sidewalk one Valentine's Day. I won the fight but I had a concussion and spent the evening filing a police report instead of doing anything romantic.

My husband forgot last year i could't believe it, i was so angry and he just could't for the life of him figure out why, when he did relize it, it was just to late i know were married and all but come on guys don't forget!!!!!

At the time, living four hours away from each other was not so fun.

Got dumped and my cat ran away on V-Day when I was 15.. pretty much takes the cake since I've been single every valentines day since.

last year.

So 2 years ago I started dating a guy who I thought was great....Our anniversary was valentines day...what could possibly go wrong...? Oh I don't know he could be a complete dickwipe who forgot our anniversary.. ITS valentines day how do you forget that.


Happy to say that this year I have plans with the weekend after v-day since we won't be together that day. He is smart and funny and apparently had something fun planned and so do I...*thanx eden*

my worst was when I was still married to my ex. he came home from work with a box of chocolates and a dozen roses and a stuffed teddy bear. a week later I found out it was a guilt gift as he had been sleeping with everyone that would! I left him shortly after that. Me and new hubby don't celebrate it.

Wow, when I posted this I knew we would get some doozies, but I didn't expect some of this stuff. I'm so sorry that Valentine's is rotten or ruined for so many of you!

I'm not a fan of the holiday in general. Everytime I planned something romantic with my former partner on V-Day it would get crashed by friends or family or some disaster. Now I celebrate at home with chocolate and my vibrator.
