OMG so we've been spreading what is essentially a minor concern as though it's a major health risk...well learn something new everyday! You know I have gotten gummy results from silicone lube on silicone toys but I never considered it something to get liability insurance on! Just stopped using the toy.

I think I'll modify my advice to test your toys rather than to avoid.

All our silicone items are Phthalate free and hypoallergenic - the rest sort of depends on you and your preferences.

Since the beginning Tantus has been challenging convention. When we first started, there were a handful of small boutique companies but no one selling to mass market. Being in the forefront on educating the consumer on healthy for the body materials and starting the phthalate movement which has now changed the industry for the better.

Currently we have several prototypes that we are working on that definitely break the mold of your standard toy.

I remember a quite few years ago being asked by a Doctor in Toronto for dialators and it's always been on our radar. We made some designs at the same time as the Element line came out and we showed them to some specialized OBGYN's but there were flaws in our designs (including that we needed even harder silicone to really do them justice), and we haven't gotten back to the project. Eventually...

I agree, a rechargeable bullet option would be awesome. Would encourage me to use the bullet more since I wouldn't be eating through batteries

That is so inspiring. I'm studying business and want to be an entrepreneur. I hope to have the same ethics once I'm in business. That just really made my day

Not a question but I have the Little Secrets Tease and had it on the bedside table. My 2 yr old neice started toward it oohing and ahhing at it saying "pretty", I grabbed it and put it up real quick but I think you may have a future customer in her!

Speaking of your elements line, why did the company choose to discontinue it? Was it just not a good seller?

Also, some people who are transitioning from M to F use dilators. It would be great to have Tantus, a company we can trust make something for Trans people.

That's one of the things I love about the Little Secrets - they're bright and fun, and if my kids accidentally see one it's not immediately obvious what they are. Love that!

I agree. I don't like rechargable toys, because I never find they continue charging for a long enough lifetime and I hate throwing away good toys cause they no longer buzz. Rechargable batteries may be a better concept.

I'd love to make electric toys but it's working more with China than I've felt comfortable doing... I'm probably holding us back but at least I'm honest.

I greatly appreciate hearing that.

I also appreciate you producing high quality body-safe products. I feel some of the lesser quality materials produced by others are a disservice to the industry. At one point we actually threw away every sex toy we had due to the negative reactions my wife would have after using them. Then we discovered silicone. Thank you Tantus!

I'd have to refer you to a chemist... I'm not one. Although yes it refers to the catalyst.

The Silks have been by far the biggest success for Tantus since they have been a cross over product to the health community as medical dilators. From the Bend Over Kits to your first dildo, the Silks in all 3 sizes make for an amazing all around toy.

With any innovative company, there are always products that conceptually are a great idea, but unfortunately never caught on. We recently discontinued the Elements line, which are amazing to play with, but never turned into great sales.

Taking risks on new and innovative designs is what has kept Tantus on of the #1 selling silicone brands.

The other great thing about them, as a mother myself, is they are SUPER quiet and you can turn them off with one touch.

Dow Corning after breast implants denied anyone doing anything with their silicone that would be placed in the body. They wouldn't sell to sex toy manufacturers. But over the years we became the #1 North American purchaser of Platinum Grade Silicone. They actually a couple of years ago wrote a new policy to try to get our business. Amazingly good people. But no we don't use Dow. LOL

The Silks are definitely worth trying. They're usually our go-to dildos for anal. I love how they come in the three different sizes, so you can work your way up. They're great!
