I was just wondering what kind of damage you have seen. I tested with two different lubes, one cheap and one expensive, and found no permanent damage.

Ah... Copper has been one of our favorites but sales just are ridiculously slow and really we want to be good business partners for our retail partners so we had to sacrifice it.

I'm excited with The Little Secrets because we got to make new colors and bring some back that 5 years ago were just too bold for people... thank goodness consumers caught up to our wild colors.
We come from art backgrounds, both me and our CEO, so color is uber important and we always try to press the envelope.

Personally, I am sold on almost anything that shimmers. It's extremely popular, and we are considering doing the Goliath in the same setup.

I was wondering if there were any plans to use the O2 dual density silicone to design a double ended dildo?

I actually have a quick question. I've always been told that silicone toys should never be stored touching each other, but I know some people do. It makes me sad to see all my beautiful Tantus toys stored in plastic baggies to avoid touching. Is it safe to store silicone toys touching one another?

I can accept that! I recommend patch testing toys or just sticking to water based lube because I wouldn't want to ruin a cherished friend.

i have broadband internet so sorry if i double post questions- it takes forever to reload my pages to see the other posts. do you feel that the adult sex toy industry is different than other types of industries, do they follow the same market trends as the global economy/market?
04/20/2011
Any plans for more dual density toys with the white layer on top? The color effect, especially the Ice Blue, is gorgeous.

Hello everyone at Tantus. First let me say that I am a ginormous fan of your products and that I greatly appreciate that they are manufactured right here in the USA.
How have you resisted the competitive pressure to more operations overseas?
How have you resisted the competitive pressure to more operations overseas?
Talk about some of the challenges and rewards of producing your wares entirely in the US---this is something I'm very impressed with, and I'm very grateful for Tantus's commitment to quality. But it can't be all smiles and rainbows, or more companies would be manufacturing here. Are your materials suppliers near your manufacturing facility? What are some of the hardest aspects of domestic production? Is dealing with EPA and OSHA requirements time consuming?
And what keeps you committed?

I love the hotpink Secret Little Kiss. I'm looking at it right now in a new window. =p

I did have one get a bit sticky, but it was definitely still play-able. But again, it's almost impossible to gauge all lubes on the market. I will say that my silicone toys have held up far better over time than stuff in other materials. I have a jelly toy that's about five years old that is not aging well at ALL. At this point, it's retired - but I'm keeping it around just to see what happens.

We look at application Elise. I know people like the feeling of softer materials but if they won't work in that oriface, or with that handle, we go with a harder silicone. Right now we're working with 3 different hardnesses and we're about to get a fourth in.
