My first toy was purchased at a retail store that sold items for bachelorette parties. It was just a rubber dildo and not very large. Had to pretend it was for a gift cuz I was too embarrassed to admit it was for me.

I've purchased a few other items recommended by a tv sex advice show that I used to watch and ordered them from her website. Quality was good but prices were high.
With your site, I've found that the quality is EXCELLENT and the prices are very good. It's nice to get free items with a purchase too.

My first toy was bought in a back room kind of like a closet in a woman's clothing store. It felt so wrong like trying to score drugs or something. Plus I had no idea what these things were and some old and I do mean old lady was standing beside me the whole time. My second time was from online and they sent it too my address is a nice brown box but then the beautiful catalog came in my name to my address in all its glory. I have never been so glad to find a web site in my entire life. I have felt comfortable and know that when things arrive it will not have a red flag saying "Sex Toys". Also reading and writing reviews has been awesome. I love reading how others found the toy so that I have a good idea of what the toy looks and feels like without ever going to a store and touching it in person. Thank you Eden for the best site ever.

A lot of it has to do with the sexual oppression of women, if a woman masturbates then it must mean she's a "slut" "whore" "somethings wrong with her" ect. v.s when a guy does it, it's considered normal. But we all know that's crap! Masturbation is healthy, natural and nothing to be ashamed about.

How did that experience differ from your purchases on Eden?
My first toy purchase was a cheapo pink jelly vibrator at a "toy store" back in the day. I don't even remember when or where it was anymore, and the toy has since died.
Are you more likely to take a chance on an item because of the review program/points system? Do you remember the first toy you bought from Eden?
The first toy I bought from Eden was one of the vibrators I've reviewed. I was in a snit and was looking for something new to play with since my old vibe had died. I didn't even pay attention to the points at first.
As for the masturbation question, I think it's a combination of the patriarchy's control of female bodies and the fact that it's easier for someone with a penis to find it than it is for someone with a clitoris. *shrugs*
Meanwhile, I do my part to "reduce the stigma" by posting this stuff to my Facebook to shock the relatives

My first toy purchase was not with EF but it was more my husband buying a couple of toys for me. I discovered EF about a year or so ago and I will not go anywhere else. I love the reviews and the wealth of information provided with the products. With my first purchase here, I really didn't know what I was doing but over time I have explored more of the website. The points system is nice but I would still shop here even without it.

My first toy was at a local shop. I quickly went in, asked for the smallest toy they had, glanced at it and then bought it. The second time I went in I got Siri. After that I looked online for more reviews and found eden. Now I only go into stores to check out how the toy looks in person. XD

My first toy wasn't bought. My husband had it because his friend and him was planning to open a sex toy shop. That didn't work out but he had a silver bullet.
My first toy from Eden was the Janine Vibrator, and I love it. I still use it often as I can.
The reason I buy from here, is because no one can see me with my toy, even if I am walking down the road with the box in my hand. It just gives me comfort knowing that I have that privacy.

My first toy was a gift and I hated it. EF really helped me out with its review system. Now I actually know what I'm buying and that it will suit my needs. The points system is very nice. I am more likely to get something different if it is made cheaper by applying store credit.
I think more information about sex toys should be made available to people of all ages. Maybe at schools or the doctor's office because you can not always trust parents to give kids comprehensive sex ed. In response to that article, I think it is great that some sex toys are available at drug stores and similar places.
I think Western society assumes men are mainly sex-driven and that women value the emotional aspects of a relationship. Therefore, men should jerk off and women should read sappy romance novels.
Most cultures have a history of determining a woman's value based on her purity. Even if the hymen is left intact, some feel even lustful thoughts are enough to 'corrupt' this purity. With men, it is expected that they will have lustful thoughts several times a day. And, if men act on them, they do not have to worry about tearing a hymen so no one would be able tell if they were a virgin or not.

I LOVE being able to shop online discreetly!! I only found eden about 2 months ago and boy am I GLAD I DID!!!!

I bought my first toy from a local store. I have NEVER had a problem with being highly sexual so I found it hilarious when I was blunt and confident with the male staff...they thought it was weird. The one guy asked me "aren't you embarrassed that you are here looking for toys?" and I told him "fuck no, why would I be embarrassed? I'm here looking for safe ways to get myself off while other women are in bars and going home with men they don't know. At least at the end of the night I don't have to kick anyone out and I know I didn't catch any STDs!!" He just laughed and told me he had never thought of it that way. I think that the reason women masturbating is frowned upon is because it's never talked about. Women are very private about what they do at home unlike men (and me lol). For a lot of women they think it is embarrassing that they have to fuck themselves instead of having a man take care of the job. Well I say "Someone's gotta make me cum and it might as well be me!!"
Also one of the main things that keeps me coming back to Eden is the mass amounts of information you guys give about a toy. Having sensative lady parts it makes it SO much easier that you guys have the scale from 1-10 on material safety..you have NO idea how much a girl like me appreciates that and also the scale of vrooms and bees is great...because everyone says their vibrator is POWERFUL but sometimes they just aren't. Thank you for ALL you do!!!

My first toy from Eden was the sex sling! We still use it to this day and love it. Before that, we bought a couple of other basic vibes from another online store but they were tossed soon after.
Eden is definitely my favorite place to shop and is now the only place I'll shop for toys!
Happy 10-years

I think that EdenFantasys is the best place online to buy toys because they are connected to their customers, and they actively engage with their fans and customers and treat everyone with respect.

My first toy purchase was at another online vendor and, although it was a fine experience, I wish I would have know EF back then. The community and reviews on this site are an amazing help in finding the perfect toy. I have not made a purchase yet, but will be very soon.
I don't understand the stigma against female masturbation. I wish as a society we were not so uptight about sexual expression. Hopefully communities like this one can help to turn the tide by shining a light on sexuality and acceptance of a natural desire for sexual stimulation.

My first toy purchases were as different as night and day from EF! All you really had to go on was the company's product description (read: exaggeration) and reviews that composed of "OMG this made me so wet!" Yeah, not helpful. And then the ship times were so long! You'd be lucky if they mailed out the same week! Once I found Eden, I never looked back. Classy without being prudish and so helpful!
I'm unquestionably more likely to take a gamble on a toy due to the points program! In fact, I'm saving up for a piece of lingerie that I'm unsure of.
And I really don't get the whole idea of women not masturbating if it's ok for men. All I can think of is that it is a throwback to the times where women were considered the keepers of morality, and went from there. Freud's little (false) theories didn't help anything.

I got my first vibrator when I was underage on Amazon. It was a very high-end toy but I didn't really like it. I now know a lot more about what I like. Even better, I've learned how to shop for sex toys.
I am definitely more willing and able to buy sex toys because of the points and affiliate programs. I would never be able to afford them without those because as a student I have no disposable income!

I bought my first toy at an online canadian shop. It wasnt anything huge, just a small surprise bag of goodies. I've never ordered anything off of Eden, but I keep browsing whenever I get the chance, so much variety, and I love that they offer safety ratings!

My first toy was the raging hard on dildo...love it and aside from the material its made from I am very happy I have it in my collection.

Personally, I think there's such a stigma around female masturbation because when women do something slightly sexual (or not sexual at all) , they're slut shamed. Told there is something wrong with it, that their sexuality and urges are unnatural. Why is that? Misogyny.

Holy cow have I tried things I would NEVER have tried without points/or the review program. I bought a rubber toy that inflates....*shudder I don't want to relive that, you can't make me! NOOOOOoOooooOOO!
I think just standing up and being unafraid and unashamed to be using sex toys takes the stigma and shoves it right back into the lap of the uninformed.

I remember the first vibrators I ever bought from Eden were the fairy baby and this ugly pink jelly vibrator that I just had to have. I never would have purchased that now that I've learned so much! I've really learned a lot in the time I've spent here. I also feel a lot more openminded to toys and sex in general. I thought I was pretty openminded before but now I'm just a better/smarter person all around. I also purchased my first rabbit vibe and bullet vibe from here as well.
Reading reviews is definitely mandatory for me if I'm going to purchase something!

I first bought from another online store. It was a horribly smelly hot pink foam vibrator. I had a neutral experience with it...I just remember not wanting anyone to know what was in the box when it came in the mail. After that, I bought from sex stores and they always felt shady to me, at least the first ones I went to. I love EF! I wish there was a Brick and Mortar store I could visit! I would want to work there!
