Hey everybody, do you know what time it is?
It's time to fix that toy.
Yes, we all have those times when we grab a favorite toy and it does not work for one reason or another. Maybe you washed it and did not dry it completely. Maybe the dog got a hold of it and your beloved egg does not work now.
Well this week on Tool Time with Tim we are going to look at two common problems and how to fix them. First we will look at rusty battery contacts. We will learn how to clean the contacts and how to prevent them from rusting in the first place. Ya, I know, βDon't get them wet.β Right? The thing is, some of us live in areas that have high humidity. That can cause rust to form as well.
Secondly we will look at how to change a Egg from one controller to another. You know, that one controller has more settings or has higher power? Yup, I am going to show yo how to cut, splice and soldier those wires together. For those that don't have a soldiering gun I will also show you how to do it with butt connecters.
So make some room on the work bench or kitchen table, get some tools ready and don't forget the safety glasses.
The Work Shop will be held right here on this thread on Sunday the 16th at 8:00 pm est. Every one is welcome to attend.
