I had a happy new year! And have been fighting off a sickness while doing some cleaning & sorting & goodwill donating since, but today I admitted that the sickness was getting the better of me and am reclining a lot.

Spent time picking up the kids and got snow last night, just a little and school is now cancelled for tomorrow.

Wow. We got a light dusting of snow again. I was watching the news this morning and they said that the average snowfall for my area each season was about 38". This time last year we had had about 17 or so, and this year so far we've had 1.9". Crazy huh?

Was ok, had to work Sunday but had Monday off. One of the only days off since Thanksgiving. Good news though, tomorrow I have an interview with a new job. So excited!!!

We just got a light dusting but we're in an area that doesn't get a lot so of course everything goes full stop.

I make chicken soup that has potato in it. A ton of other veggies as well. I made it again yesterday actually because we only use half of everything to make a huge pot---so I didnt want the rest to go to waste. My boyfriend will eat soup everyday if I let him, hes a freak.
