I know our Texas Mama isn't here right now but holy cow she wrote us some beautiful stuff this month.

What did you guys think about her Gift of Daffodils? It left me thinking back on all those bizarre things that I get teased for now but mean the world to me. Like the fact that for our 10th anniversary Sigel got me a blender....but it was a special gift because it meant so much more than a kitchen appliance usually stands for. It was a promise that from that day forward we would have at least one day a week we would be sipping a fancy drink rather than wondering where our next meal was coming from! Also it meant that we would have a kitchen AND electricity...and the man was good to his word.

I love her style of writing it is so heartfelt and poignant.

Yeah, it brought up some shit for me too, about my mother and how she was. But it was so painful and beautiful, it was amazing of her to share all that with us.

That is a wonderful story, Airen! My hubby and I have been through similar times, and that gives me ideas for the expressions of love story!

Oh Destri... you so need to make your way to the old EdenLit posts on the EF blog and check them out!!! Airen forgot to include Mister T in her first one so she had to write it all again!!! Mine I think was a poem with a fairy and a magic dildo I think it was.

I'm very much hoping to have more of a chance to read everybody's submissions and, *gasp* even submit some of my own in the coming months now that I'll be leaving and probably will have a lot more free time. Or at least time to enjoy the site more.
