What about warmth and coolness, or hot and cold... something like that that could go different ways, or be about the contrast.

I like that...sort of a let's warm up February kind of topic! Any pagans could add in our particular take on Oimelc (Imbolc, Imbolg whichever you prefer!) As long as your piece talks about warmth it would fit the topic!

I was thinking "Looking for love" That kind of thing. Which is why I suggested the theme of just LOVE in general.

So:
*Apocalypse (zombies, aliens, zombie-cherubs)
*Love lost and found
*warmth and coolness (hot and cold?)
????????????
Is that the general loverly idea for topics?

The baby, 3, has a fever and cough. She's my one who is never sick, so it's extra pitiful.
I hope your lil one gets better soon! less

We could simply make the topic Valentine's Day...that would include love lost, found, searched for, ect.

- crazy apocalypse of some kind
- love in general
- warmth
Something like those? I'm all for the crazy one, and I'm ok with pretty much any of the 'sane' ones that get picked.

My daughter is prone to fevers and they regularly go to 104 and sometimes higher. I found that if you dampen a few baby wipes and throw them into the freezer you will always have a cold/cool cloth and they are definitely reusable for a while that way. Sometimes I have to cover her in them.

I met to catch this and figured I would spend the remaining 10-15 minutes cleaning up my room. Somehow this cleaning up turned into an hour! Ah well, I'm here now although I'm sure it'll be winding down.
I used to write quite a bit but having a child and then later returning to school started taking up more of my time. I've started many blogs over the years but they typically don't have much staying power.
I wouldn't object to getting back into writing and am hoping a community would do just that for me.

I have an idea...
How about after this discussion, Airen could post an 'Assignment Thread' that covers everything decided upon her including the writing topics and open invite to anyone who couldn't makes it... all rolled up into one neat post. And then you can post questions or update about the assignment there.
