The premis was that they had agreed to this earlier...answered an ad or something. I guess that didn't really come through.

I'll trust the editors, for my part.

KK I'll contact the other authors individually and then we'll get these things turned in so the magic can begin LOL

Secondly: Do we want to keep the club as it is or focus a bit more on critical review of the work? We have the opportunity to expand our horizons and actually begin to learn about writing. How interested in that concept are we?

You know that works too I suppose...his words were that the couple had agreed to the night but were surprised and if they balked something sinister would happen.

I think mine is okay. The only thing i would maybe change is that she scoops it into her mouth instead of his before they kiss at the end. But it dorsn't have to. I think that is actually kinfa a fantasy of a lot of girls...to feed it to the guy.

I do like how it is, but I'd also like to try and critique work as well, even if I suck at doing much more than "I really liked that."

I'm fine with the editors looking at it.

I am, for one. And maybe instead of two topics and a free topic, we could have one topic, one story that lets us focus on the skill we're featuring, and still the free one.

We could have people volunteer their work for critique rather than just do that for everyone...just an idea for the more timid and sensitive.

This could be interesting. I know i learned a lot in my first couple of stories by running them past critical reviewers (until they stopped in the middle to wank) and then with an actual volunteer editor from the site. He gave me a lot of tips and didn't pull punches in his critiques.

Expanding on this idea and my other one....we could have one of the topics be a critical focus and leave the other two alone. Then people who just want to write wouldn't feel pressured.

The reason I am bring up the critiquing idea is Rayne is concerned that we are defeating ourselves with the search engines because we aren't always writing over 300 words per submission. If we are going to critique a story it would need to be something we can really sink our teeth into!

Oh and if you want help editing and/or organizing the sections i would be happy to volunteer.

As a topic of interest we will be able to draw from the other clubs some of our topics as well as from the Eden Cafe. The kink club has agreed to share their topics with us if we would like to explore the same topics then we are welcome to! This was another idea Rayne presented as the Kink Club manager...let's face it our club and hers just seems to go hand in hand LOL

That they do. But how do you all write a story in less than 300 words? I think my poem is pushing that!

The topics we chose last month for january are:
Starting over
New Beginnings
Choices

Which one should be our critical focus?

I....have...no....idea ! The thought of keeping it under 300 words gives me nightmares. My reviews take so long because of all the words I have to remove from each one!

I should also say that poetry is exempt from the 300 word minimum. Some of the best poetry is certainly less than 300 words!

New Beginnings, of course! Because we're beginning critiquing!
