Do you exercise regularly? What are your reasons? I have a neck herniated disk problem, so I need to do an assortment of stretching exercises daily, or else my neck and shoulders will hurt. Besides that, exercise helps improve my mood, and also enables me to stay physically and visually fit.
Do you exercise on a regular basis? And why?

No, but not because I think it's something that's not needed but because I don't have time. I wake up at 3:40am to get ready for work. Work until 5:00 or 6:00. Get home around 7:00. Take care of my son until his bedtime (8:30). Then I eat dinner and try to spend some time with my husband. I have insomnia so if I do any high energy activity after about 7:00 I won't get to sleep at all that night (I know it works opposite for most people). So unless I want to start waking up at 2:30am, it's pretty much not happening. I'd like to, I just can't really fit it in.

I'm on my feet all day at work, moving around - so when I'm not at work, I'm a lazybutt. If I had a more sedentary job, it might be something I would consider, but I'm too exhausted after work to want to push my body any more.

We are not morning people, but recently started going to the gym three mornings a week at 5:30am.
It has been the greatest thing to happen to us.
We used to go after work, but frequently missed going due to later work schedules, things at home, or other stuff. This often led us to believe we were throwing away money at a gym membership we didn't get to take advantage of! By going in the morning, we don't miss as many sessions, and our nights are more flexible and much less hectic.
Of course, there are all the other health-related benefits - like a trimmer physique, better endurance, etc.

It's understandable for you not to exercise. Sometimes I'm also tired after a full day's chores, and I'll skip my daily exercise routine, BUT my neck and shoulders hurt like hell the next day.

well, I meant to click that I exercise every day. Before I did, I was suffering from back problems and achy joints. But after I did, i noticed it helps my sex drive and I'm an overall nicer person. And of course, I love how I look now.

i don't exercise at all... i want to though because i want to feel amazing! physically, and mentally...

I need to exercise, but I don't because of my anxiety/depression. Which only makes things worse. Once I get over the "I don't wanna" phase, it makes me feel a million times better. I swear I'll start up soon...

I try to exercise 3-4 times a week. I really love going for a run!

I can't even jog, my guts hurt 5 minutes after I began, it's been like that ever since I was in my early teens.

Love it when I get into the rhythm of it, but if I don't do it for a while I can feel the difference and it's so much harder to get into.

I love long hikes/brisk walks, dancing, intense yoga, lifting. When I had a free rec center right by me I worked out daily. Now I do yoga, dance, and hike/walk a few times a week. Also push-ups, etc.
My body feels better, I have more energy, my depression goes away, and I love how I can carry in so many grocery bags up three flights without getting out of breath when I work out. Weight training is great for your bones too. Lately I've had some iron deficiency issues and a few other health annoyances so it's been gentle yoga and walks for the most part.
Everyone should exercise if they are able. It's excellent preventative medicine. There's an activity out there for even the most lazy/exercise-hating individual!

I am better organized, energized and generally feel better when I exercise. It's a pain to get started when you don't exercise at all because it feels like such a drag but once it's in your routine it's amazing how much you can tell the difference in how you feel when you skip a day or stray from the routine.
Exercise is my lethargy be-gone.

I get exercise at work. I do not have time to go to the gym.

I used to exercise regularly but have lost interest in it for some reason. I really should start it up again, I know that much.

Exercise just makes me feel better about myself, both physically and mentally.

I do it because it helps with my anxiety/depression. Also, my Dom tells me to do it too so that's mostly why I do it. We noticed how much better my mood is when I exercise so now i try and do a little bit every day.

I'm a car-less college student so I walk everywhere. But I also go to the gym three times a week. Two days during the week before class for an hour and for two hours on Satuarday. It gives me more engery and I feel like it helps me look better.

I have to exercise several times a week. I have a lot of ugly flab since I have lost 120 pounds in 10 months. If I want to get rid of the flab and regain my muscles back that I lost then I have to exercise. It also helps the arthritis in my pelvic bone when I exercise I also seem to get a bit more energy.

In the last year I've started working out again, and have found it to be a huge difference. It's helped with my mood and dealing with stress at work, as well as helping me feel better.

I don't usually but I am getting back on track to living a healthy life so hopefully soon I will be getting a good workout in several times a week since I have 50lbs to lose!

I am and I am tracking everything I eat, I was never aware of how many calories I drank and now that I'm cutting out junk I find myself craving the healthier foods! I know I have a long way to go but I also know I didn't get this way overnight so I won't lose it overnight

I love to golf and being strong makes me a better golfer - come to think of it being fit makes me a better lover. The bottom line is that life in general is better if you are fit. No need to be obsessed - just fit.

I picked other because I exercise, but not on a regular basis.

I don't exercise as often as I should. I need to loose weight.

Yes, I love exercising!! Makes me feel so much better, physically and mentally. Sometimes I dread it, but once I start...I feel great.
