I meant to say dip them in caramel sauce. But thanks! I just got here and I'll have to read through the rest of the meeting to see what I missed!

That's pretty fun! I don't think my daughters would want to eat a spider though! Maybe they could come up with some other type of animal or bug. Maybe a butterfly with apple slices? I don't know. I'll have to give it a shot sometime! Thank you!

You'll need:
Firm fruit of any kind (apples, plums, pears, etc.)
Peanut butter (for "gluing" the bits together)
Whatever you'll be using for eyes, fangs, etc. Dried fruit or small candies are good choices.
Slice the fruit so you have four flat faces. This leaves you with a rectangular core. Discard the core. Take one of the flat faces, put flat side down. With the rest of the slices, you can cut them into legs, fangs, etc.

Another thing you can do is take just plain tortilla shells, take a pumpkin cookie cutter to it, and let them decorate it with fruit. They like that, too. Kids are fun. And messy. And sometimes gross. But mostly fun.

I've made these pumpkin custard ghosts for a halloween party before
They're not the quickest thing to make but they sure are cute.
I had found the recipe online here
Instead of the topping I used whipped cream in a can and chocolate chips for the eyes.

Anything pumpkiny is fine with me. I just made pumpkin roll last week, and before that there was pie. I currently have one pie pumpkin and two sweet dumpling squash sitting on my table waiting for me to make something with them.

Yes ma'am! Just read back through the thread!
And on top of that, because there were still two gift cards left over after last night's meeting, check out the Supplement thread to contribute pictures and recipes of your creations, and maybe even win one of the GCs!
