I love spicy hummus, so I like to put sriracha on top.

Lamb roast with rosemary. Lots of the yogurt sauce, stuffed grape leaves.

Zatar is a blend of spices with lots of oregano, marjoram, and thyme. Sumac is a plant... it grows up in the Great Lakes states, and it has red ... things that make good tea. It's native to lots of Persian states too, so it's common in their cooking.

I'm on board with lamb gyros for my choice of meal. We got to do that a few times a year and it is always amazing.

It's not really so necessary---I worked at a restaurant for a while that made their own hummus, and their recipe was pretty similar to the one I just listed, but with no tahini. It still tasted quite good.

Well, generally hummus does. The traditional is tahini, which is made from sesame seeds. You can find it in the ethnic, health food, or nut butter section of your grocery store. If you can't, you can also substitute peanut butter for it.
