I've done piercing play before, with an experienced partner who was very careful and safe. I enjoyed it quite a lot actually. The sensations are interesting, and there was some challenge involved with deciding how far to take it and how many piercings I was willing to try where. As someone else pointed out, the piercing done in'play' piercing are usually not deep, only passing through skin and not intended to be kept.

The only real problem with trying it again for me would be finding someone with the proper experience and dedication to safety and cleanliness. I have some serious health problems, and thus have to be careful about infections and such, so I tend to err on the side of caution currently.
