It depends on for me.
Would you share?

No way for me.

Certainly, if it's sanitized I'd have no problem. I've actually done it.

Basically I've been considering 're-gifting' my expensive Roae that simply just doesn't fit my body.
It's made of high quality silicone and can be fully sterilised.
So would you give or receive a toy that someone else had used if it was made from a sterilisable material such as silicone, glass, metal etc?
I'd love to hear others opinions on the subject as I do have a number of silicone toys Id gladly give to others less

I've shared toys. I've given toys away. I've sold toys.
If they're nonporous, like glass or steel, then you really can't transfer anything. If they're bleachable, it kills pretty much everything. And for that matter, most everything needs a moist surface to survive.

I would give mine away or sell them if it came to that. I actually have a toy in mind that I've been considering getting rid of...but it's jelly, so I've held on to it. It doesn't seem right, unless the person buying it has a kink for that...
I would be hesitant to accept pre-used toys, even if they're entirely sterile. It just weirds me out...

I don't know. Even though it's been sanitized, to me it just seems gross. I really don't want something that has been inside someone else numerous times, or even once. It's like buying used panties from the thrift store. Just...no.
01/07/2011
i'd share. i'd also trade toys or buy used toys as long as they're sanitized.
01/07/2011
no way. You never know if you have fully cleaned it. I wouldn't give/use a toy that was someone else's...not eve someone i am friends with. eww
01/09/2011
I'd be willing to give away a toy I don't like (or that doesn't work for me) but I'd have to be able to sterilize it first. As for getting a used toy, I'm not sure - I'd have to give it a very thorough sterilizing first.
01/20/2011
It really depends on the other person. I'd consider it if I could sterilize it, but absolutely not if I couldn't.
01/22/2011
as long as it is fully sanitize-able, and the recipient understood and wasn't grossed out by it

No, my friends think I probably have herpes or something.
03/01/2011
That would never happen There are some things that are just mine! I may get them a gift card for eden fantasys, but that is the extent of it. There will be no toy sharing!
03/01/2011
Meh, probably not... My toys aren't that expensive anyway
03/01/2011
I don't see a problem as long as it can be sterilized and the person knew it was used and was still willing to accept it.
03/01/2011
It doesn't bother me much if other people do it, but I can't see myself giving away or accepting a used toy.

I agree. Why let it rot in my closet if someone else can enjoy it?

If I can totally sterilized, then I'll pass it along to a close friend. I'm the only one out of our 'group' who has an extensive amount of sex toys and who knows the most about them so the majority of my friends come to me with questions.

03/01/2011
If both parties are happy and the item is fully sterilized... boiled/bleached etc in the case of metal/silicone/glass then I don't see a problem.
03/01/2011
it would have to be a great toy and i would wash it really well, but i would never give it to someone without them knowing
03/02/2011
that is a tough question. you dont wanna toss it out an expensive toy or let it sit there unused, so maybe if both are comfortable with the regift than its okay. for cheaper stuff tho, I throw it away if i havnt used it in at least a year.
03/02/2011
Gifting a prior used toy is kind of like wearing a friends underwear. You know it's been washed and you can even sterilize the undies, but there could be some mental restrictions.
I've worn a girlfriends panties in a pinch, and I suppose that if it was someone I knew well and felt comfortable with I would give/accept a toy.

I know that my girlfriend shares her toys with her friends when they come over, so I would think it would be alright to regift it.

I've given toys I don't use to my best and closest lady friend. When I had my one main lesbian experimentation time, she was the one it was with and so we aren't weirded out by the super personal aspect of used toys. She's also an artist so I figure any toys she doesn't end up wanting to actually use can just be incorporated into one of her cool crazy projects
