I have many times. Before I moved, I lived near a really nice adult store. Now the only one near me is really gross, overpriced, and has a perv-y owner. I avoid it.

If I had the option to buy in person I might but there are no sex shops around here, and the ones I have seen all look shady and are out in the middle of nowhere.

I did that twice. But after that I found Eden and I don't think I could go back. I mean, Eden is just too awesome! I always went by myself. The prices on Eden are much better too. Plus the points system and everything. I only go to look at the size of the toys in person now. And maybe get a feel for the vibrations if I'm thinking of getting something really expensive on here. But a lot of the times places don't have the kind of selection Eden does.

I like to go into the stores to actually look at the items, and feel the weight and size of them. It can be very uncomfortable, I agree - especially the stores where they stare at you the whole time, as if you're definitely going to steal from them. I hate that. Not to mention usually it is cheaper to buy things online these days. :/

I have before, no problem. I had an ex that worked at one before I was even old enough to enter the store, and I've purchased things and rented porn from them. It's not a big deal to me, but I can see how some people would be uncomfortable with it. I'd be a lot more open about my sexuality if it weren't for the reactions from other people (well, some people).

There's a pretty nice toy and porn shop not far from my house. I've been in there a few times, once to buy something and a few times just to browse around for fun with a friend of mine. I don't ever really buy anything there because the prices are ridiculous compared to here on Eden. If I'm unsure about ordering a product I might go in to get a look at it in person to help me decide if I want it. I rally don't have any qualms about going in there, though. It's very clean and it's run by a really friendly lady. Some of the clerks have been a little pushy, though. But it's not the type of sex shop where a bunch of shady people hang around or people hassle you.
