i started shaving at age 17 because an insensitive boyfriend called my pubes 'skanky' for existing. i stopped at age 19 when i started coming into my own and tried to liberate myself from things others had impressed upon me as crucial to my existence as a good human being...
i shaved my head and stopped shaving everywhere else (except my underarms, just because).
i have tried once or twice to trim since then but i dont like the look or feel of shaved vaginas. either wax it so there's no hair or bumps or let it go. stubble or shaving bumps on genitals is a total turnoff to me.
but i do know that many people nowadays (if you ask me, porn is the culprit) do shave completely and i'm in the minority.
