I buy my wife all her sex toys, and although most of them are discussed with her, chosen by her or approved by her before I purchase them, I know her well enough to be comfortable surprising her with a toy. Last week I bought her the Key Nyx vibrator as a surprise, and she put it to use immediately, telling me she absolutely loved it, that it was perfect for clitoral stimulation just the way she liked it because of the point at the end of the vibe. Because my guy lives in a country where sex toys are not exactly plentiful, and because I have an account with Eden, I do the sex toy collection. Sometimes he's involved in picking them out; I like him to pick out the toys he'll use to "punish" me or "possess me"--the crop, the flogger, the paddle, the collar...that kind of thing. But I'm usually in charge of the other accessories to the bedroom. I like him to pick out lingerie for me sometimes, but I also like surprising him.

But, if he got the urge to get something for me, I'd be flattered at the thought. I'm not a huge vibrator fan, though. Most of the stuff I get these days are BDSM related, lingerie, and anal toys. He's my favorite thing to play with in the bedroom.

I pick out the toys for both of us. I know what I like more than my husband does, so I'd prefer for me to pick things for me. He's suggested some things before that make me go WTF. I pick stuff out for him sometimes though because I know his preferences pretty well.

I buy them for my girlfriend. Sometimes a surprise, sometimes together. I think she likes the surprises. I also know more about sex toys and have looked around more, so sometimes I grab things she is not even aware exist and gets very excited.

I would really like that - but only if he goes for cheeper toys. Expensive ones should be choosen together, as its not like if you dont like it it can just go to the rubish bin.

No I haven't had a partner purchase toys for me without me choosing them. I had an ex that purchased a few toys for me but I picked them out. I have a partner that I have sent a list of lingerie and toys to for him to pick things he would like to see in the bedroom an I have ordered them. Never though has he ordered anything on a whim. I always send a list of what I want an then I order with my points or GCs

I voted for my wife. I'm the only toy buyer in our house. She's not a big fan of toys generally and usually, when I produce a toy I've bought for her, she rolls her eyes and shakes her head at the idea of me using it on her. She doesn't like to use them by herself, either.

BUT — when I can overcome her resistance and actually get her to let me try something on her, she's often very pleased.

I wasn't surprised because I picked it out and he paid for it. However it was a very nice gift. I have enjoyed it quite a bit!
