You have a new toy. Do you read the instructions first or start looking through EF reviews?

I usually read reviews first to get an idea before I buy it. The just wing it.

Figure it out as I go, keep the instructions as a backup

Instructions and I don't get along. Mostly I'm too egotistical to think I need them. For just about anything...

My husband thinks I'm out of my mind for not looking at instructions. So when it's something I really should be paying attention to, I have him to keep me in check.

I figure it out as I go if it is a dildo. But if it's a vibrator, I read reviews.

I almost picked out the llama answer, just because it is cute.

But, no. I usually read the instructions if it's an expensive or rechargable toy (I'm too scared to mess with expensive toys until I know what to do with them).

If it's a cheap and/or obvious (turn dial, single button, dildo, etc) toy, I just dive right in and play around.

It's usually pretty easy to figure things out as I go, but if I need to read instructions I will. Chances are I've already read review from EF though so that doesn't usually come up AFTER the toy arrives.

I usually examine the entire EF page for the product before I even decide to buy. and then maybe a couple more times while I'm waiting for it to arrive. once it shows up, if there is directions, I'll read them

I usually read the instructions. When I am looking around to buy a toy, I read a lot of reviews.

I usually read the reviews before I buy, so when it comes, if I can't figure it out, I'll keep trying for a while, then I hit up the video reviews here at EF

However, I did do some googling in regards to cleaning the fleshlight and found that corn starch was great for giving it that like new softness again!

I usually start playing with it first and look at the instructions later. I prefer to see how intuitive things are first.

I read reviews before purchasing, so when I get it in my hands I'll read through all the little booklets to see if there's anything interesting. If buttons are involved I check if it needs an initial charging or not, and like to know the specific. BUt for play, that's all about experimenting lol.

I always know how to use things when it comes to sex toys or implements. I've honestly used so many that nothing comes as a surprise anymore - I figure it out eventually.

However, that being said, I usually read reviews BEFORE purchasing. It makes no sense to read a review after the purchase. I also read through the directions if it has electric parts, just so that I know everything that it's capable of.

If I'm getting a toy, I've probably read the description, several reviews, and as soon as it came in, any instructions. I'm the super cautious kind.

I'll check the instructions if it's for something important and objective like cleaning, but for general usage, I'll look at the most useful EF reviews for tips.

Usually, I've read enough reviews to know the instructions and I figure out the rest as I go or refer to instructions every now and then. When I got my Yooo I had to read the instructions because it seemed a little more complex than what I'd had previously.
