It sucks that we're so split apart but we're working on it. Neither guy wants to be the one the kids visit. Hopefully by his birthday we'll have worked out how to have us all in one household.

LOL, I'd be shy to let the mentor read them! To put it in perspective, my BOYFRIEND, the person I use my toys with and share my life with - I don't like him reading my reviews. If he pushes I let him but he rarely does because he knows how uncomfortable and self-conscious it makes me. And it's not the subject matter at all...I know more about sex (well, sex and food) than I know about anything...it's actually the writing part.

It's okay to be shy at first

I literally jumped in by taking a class where everyone had to read their short stories out loud. HORRIFYING! But I got over my stage fright and now I'm a lot more comfortable sharing my writing. It's all about taking that initial plunge and hoping for the best. I only got one positive comment from the teacher, btw. The WHOLE SEMESTER!

I hate when I give someone something to read and they read it out loud in front of me. It makes me cringe. I have to leave the room until they're finished lol.

LOL, I have no desire to 'be' the vampire in any of the stories or fantasies...I love the implied submissiveness of the human with the vampire. There's just so much power and strength associated with the vampire character that its hard to imagine being the dominant...or maybe I just don't want to see it that way?

My guys beg for me to write for them and are incensed that I have resisted sending anything to a publisher. I enjoy it but I dunno if it's good enough for publication.

My issue is also that I'm a very technical writer...even my reviews are...term paperish.

I guess I'm just too much of a dominant personality...I want to be the one doing. I am also turned on by power sharing, so a were animal playmate would be amazing!
