The "Shining Ones" of the Celtic lore were well over 6 foot tall and seemed to shimmer in the light. Their glamorie was supposed to be total and fatal. Sounds so damn good to me though.

We HAVE to get to at LEAST 500. This is definitely the slowest it's been in a couple of weeks....maybe it's because people are busy with getting kids back to school and what not.

Which brings up an interesting point - are there any compilations out there that anyone knows of that go along with a school girl type fantasy? Short skirts, smacking yard sticks, and androgynous Catholic school graduates wearing JUST their uniform tie? I haven't seen one but there seems to be a book out there for everything else.

Hmmm...maybe that's where Stephenie Meyer nabbed that whole 'glittering vampire' thing from.

That was, by far, the biggest turn-off to the vampires in those books to me. Besides the purity, that is. They're mean, they've 'killed people before', they 'wanted to kill you'...and they flippin sparkle? Really? Wow...mean...scary...

It's different on elves, they're not the inherently evil undead.

Lol, mine was all for it until I mentioned that I wouldn't be buying them from here since Eden doesn't carry one of them anymore and I could get all 3 for only $10 more than the 2 available while they were on sale price. Then he got sad that I'd be spending money, but I've been pretty good about using the ones I've bought. And these will take like, 2 weeks to get here, so I've got time to fill the gaps, lol

NOpe just don't share the same morals as humans, they do have a code of ethics but it's older and more vicious. They also exude sex which makes human spouses realy jealous!
