Do you have any suggestions for writers that would like to transition/try erotica? I am currently in the health & fitness genre...any advice would be appreciated

Something like that...something Michele and Alan would feel comfortable reading aloud...like short stories where the entire story is in one perspective and the next is the other. So she could read one then he could read one.

For being in the midwest, I'm quite impressed with our Borders and B/N, they're Erotic Romance section is growing, and even our used bookstores have carved out a section.
Midwesterners are kinky. It's those cold, cold winters...

Yeah. I have a hard time finding anything from a Dominant point of view. Especially a female Dominant.
I have yet to read them, I would look to Joey H. Hill if you like novels. I've got like six of hers that I haven't read yet (she's got a paranormal series too). Claudia Varrin. I tend to like Male Dom/female sub's but I read about everything.

We southerners are kinky, too...but you have to drag it out of most people after a keg party. Very secretive, but I've met a lot of fellow kinksters who own farms! I love it!

Health & fitness can be very sexy.

Write what you like to read, what turns you on.

I would love that book Alison! I mean I love the idea of fairy tales or fables retold anyway and have bought some of them in the past and have ended up with at least one that was completely horrid! (not by anyone here...at least that I know of) I can't wait to read both yours and Kristina's new ones!

Thank you for your reply and then where do I submit to? or post? What do you think the best way for a newbie is to submit new stuff without coming off as annoying?

I LOVE boy on boy stories and there don't seem to be many around in the general compilations - there is one though, since you're realizing you may like some of them - in Frenzy. It's called Cartwheels and Strays by Mary Borsellino and I liked it not only because of the sexual element, but it had a very deep, kind of longing, emotional element to it as well. It's one of my favorites in the book.

Oh, that sounds intriguing. I developed an interest in graphic novels when I took a pop culture class.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll check out Joey. Claudia Varrin's stuff annoys me. It's always way too scripted. Acky.

I know exactly what you mean Tori that story struck me as deeper than most fo the other stories in that anthology. It was surreal but very relatable. I am in love with a guy who ressembles the object of desire in that story and it is so very spot on!

I think Exit to Eden was my very first erotic novel, then I read the Beauty trilogy, and it blew my mind for a few years (of course I was in high school). It took until college before I really got into erotica and I started off with Black Lace.
