Kind of a quiet discussion tonight, so I want to jump in and ask who are the writers in the group? I promised to share my new calls for submissions and I am happy to say I have signed to edit TWO more anthologies for Cleis Press!

The writing was great, and it really did set the tone for the whole book; it was poetic but not hokey, and it was almost taboo.

I'm trying to find the right bookshelf so I can post an excerpt!

Honestly, everything. I loved the characters, I love the fact that it built a little background and a little history without being boring, I loved the sex between them, the way it was described, and it was one of those stories I just really put myself in while I was reading it. I can't say enough good things about it.

Sorry about the delay, I've got a lot going on. I wish I had read the books but I've got my sights set on one for the next meeting so I've held out on getting anything else.

LOL I already have one chosen...And oddly, it's the name (broken into two parts) of a petroleum company my company sold some stuff to. But I love the way it sounds.

So do you know what your anthology topics will be?

I've always leaned towards being the voyeur than the exhibitionist, so some of these were things that I've wanted to witness. I personally loved well, most of the book. Some of the stories failed to capture my attention as fully as others, but I only had a hard time making it through one story, and that was only because male/male stories aren't my preference to read. However, I did really enjoy that one a lot too.

I really liked all of the stories, even the male/male one. They were not stereotypical, or at least what you would necessarily expect from stories about voyeurism and exhibitionism. I was hooked, and the only other book that I read and that was as magnetic was Pleasure Bound.

I've shared this with one of my friends, and I sincerely hope he'll submit a story for your book. He's only shown me a few little things, and the way he can describe a kiss makes you really wonder how he can use words for steamy hot sex.

Thanks, but I just noticed I forgot to mention that I really liked how Curtain Call was a very good choice as a first story. I really like when an author introduces an element or an action that warms my heart and go 'Awwww' or 'Oh it's cute'. Hot steamy sex is good, but it's fun to be reminded there is a little bit more than sex.
