My doctor has always told me to balance yogurt into my diet. Eaing a cup of yogurt a day will sort of balance the pH levels in your body that you have going on. So you may want to incorporate that into your diet on a regular basis.

Yes I hate them. I normally just buy the Monistat from the store.

I've only ever had one but it was bad. I didn't realize I had one at first cause I was just really itchy. Sex was great for scratching it though But when I realized what it was, I went to the pharmacy and picked up some canestan and it was gone in a couple days. I'm not prone to them though, thank God!
I also only wear cotton underwear which I'm sure helps keeping them away. When I got my first and only infection I'm pretty sure it was caused by the non-cotton undies I had on.

I get chronic UTIs, and will sometimes get on a cycle where I get a UTI, get on antibiotics. The antibiotics then cause a yeast infection. By the time I get that infection taken care of, I'm on my period, which can often cause me to get a UTI! It can get really frustrating.

I used to, in fact I was prone to cystitis which would be treated with antibiotics which then led to thrush which had to be treated with antifungal pessaries and creams! But then something happened in my mid twenties, I probably started to grow out of it, but I also met my husband then and he was a confirmed naturist. So it was around then that I started to sunbathe nude regularly and it seems a coincidence that is also when I stopped getting thrush! I mentioned it to my family doctor who suggested that the fungal infections were inhibited from spreading by the exposure to ultra violet light!
So, you could do a lot worse than becoming a naturist to help with yeast infections, if nothing else, you will feel sexier with an all over tan!
