Pads and tampons for now. I'm buying the Diva Cup soon. The co-op in the next town over sells them now so I don't have to pay for shipping.

What do you use during your period?

I use the Diva cup. The thought of wearing tampons now really scares me.

Personally, the DivaCup disgusts me

I use pads right now.Maybe in the future I might go back to tampons but,now I prefer to use pads.I don't think I could use the cup.

Surprised and pleased there are so many diva cup users. Guessing it's linked to being I tune nd aware of our bodies

The menstral cup makes me squeamish, thinking about it holding all that blood. I use tampons, mostly.
07/16/2012
I wear tampons. I never heard of Menstrual Cups until recently on EF.

A cup! I have the Lunette.

Diva Cup or instead cup (disposbale) I didn't realize how many women actually used them! It's awesome! I've never tried having sex with the diva cup in, it's quite large but we comfortably have CLEAN, blood free sex with the instead cups!

I use both tampon and pads, but maybe I'll try out a cup one day.

If you use cups - what brand do you use?
I use Diva Cup.

Just use pads and tampons

I love menstrual cups. I've had mine for three years and am never going back to disposables.

I used to use pads throughout most of the day since tampons made me feel dry and so were uncomfortable to walk with. Then I'd wear a tampon to bed (which you're not supposed to do) since pads almost always leaked when I laid down, or else the blood getting on my skin would make me itchy and I'd wake up with menstrual blood under my fingernails from scratching. Not fun.
Recently I started using a Diva Cup, and now I'm only keeping my leftover tampons and pads around in the event I need them - I shudder at the idea! The cup is so much more comfortable, and I can sleep with it in and not worry at all about itching or dryness! And it just seems so clean compared to disposables! I'd never had a period where I felt totally clean until I got my cup!

^^^ This. I'd never go back to tampons after using the Instead SoftCups, they're great because you can have sex with them in and be clean. Also even though the box says to discard after one use, I find that they're like the Tenga Eggs, with proper care you can use them multiple times. In a few months I won't be bleeding ever again, thank god, but until then, I'm only using SoftCups.

Some people don't bleed enough to need anything. I know a few people who only get spots after they urinate, no real 'flow' to speak of. It's just their bodies.

Are they on some kind of birth control where they have little to no bleeding? Even with that, you would at least need to use a panty liner; right?

I used pads for about five years after I started my period, then started using tampons fairly recently. I definitely do want to try the cup though.

tampons and pads..i dont trust tampons by themselves the first 2 days and its too heavy for pads alone...been hearing alot about this diva cup, might give it a try
10/18/2012
Pads and tampons. Depends on how heavy and how I feel as to which (but sometimes both).

I have never heard of a menstural cup...
