I have a medical condition that makes tampons uncomfortable so i only wear them when i have to like swimming etc. & use mainly pads. Which suck because they always give me a rash

Wasn't the best thing I ever did. After a day or two of using it, I'd start to get terrible cramps. I had to stop using it.

Though, other than that, it was pretty good. It was a Diva Cup.
I use tampons now.

Diva Cup for sure! My period is really heavy, even after being on birth control for years, and I find that the Diva Cup last me longer. Tampons I'd soak through in a few hours, but with the Diva Cup I only have to clean it out maybe 3 times a day. Plus I can sleep with it in the whole night and not have to worry about TSS or leaks.

Tampons. I've never even seen a diva cup, or else I'd give it a try

I got mine at London Drugs, and I've seen it at other drug stores too. A few of the health and organic shops will carry them as well, or other brands of menstrual cups.

I used pads for a few years, and then tampons until I discovered the Lunette cup. I love it and can't imagine going back.

I always used tampons but after I had my daughter they get really uncomfortable for some reason Think I'm going to try diva cup now.

I've always used tampons and pads.

I really want to try a menstrual cup. Thank you for everyone's thoughts.

i would say that 'freeballing' is more like a wadded up piece of toiletpaper and i think we've all had to do this at least once when caught without any feminine hygiene products

Are they on some kind of birth control where they have little to no bleeding? Even with that, you would at least need to use a panty liner; right?

I use tampons and pantiliners- even at night though very rarely I sleep with a pad but it totally feels like a diaper and it so messy, my pubes get filled with blood its gross- even for me who is pretty much never squeamish about bodily fluids and pretty lax on personal hygiene- I still can't stand messy pads.
I'd like to try the cup- especially cause it seems like you could masturbate with it in- how high up does it go? i saw one in the drugstore yesterday but it was the disposable kind- doesnt really cut down on cost. i'll look for the diva cup- especially if its silicone since silicone has become my new best friend. i hope it fits though because female condoms always end up sideways.

Diva cup all the way!

I use MoonCup(UK), which is like the DivaCup. I also use Lunapads, which are washable. I don't get along well with whatever is in disposable pads.

I have a Meluna and a large Lunette menstrual cup. The Lunette is uncomfortable (too big I think) and the Meluna couldn't handle my flow. I'm going back on birth control, though, so it'll be light enough to use the comfortable Meluna exclusively.
If you're thinking about getting a menstrual cup, there are TONS of brands. Make sure to compare them. I could have easily bought a Diva cup, but it is actually longer than my relaxed vagina.

I used to use tampons in combination with pads (because I also always seemed to leak). But then I got Mirena (IUD) and now I only have light spotting so I have switched to using panty liners. But if I ever go back to having a period, I'm definitely looking into a cup.

I use pads or pantiliners.

I used to use tampons until my period pretty much stopped from getting my IUD. I have switched to thin panty liners if I do get a period.

a combo of tampons and pads.

Pads... I don't like the idea of something just sitting in my vagina. That is why I don't use tampons or anything else.. lol

Kinda concerned about that "freeballin'" option...

Tampons and pads...Tampons get uncomfortable to me due to medical issues but I only wear them when I go out somewhere an I am afraid of leaks other then that its pads for me

I've tried out several different kinds of menstrual cups, including DivaCup, Meluna, and Lunette, but my favorite is my large Yuuki. It's firm, but still comfortable, and has a higher capacity than all my other cups. I love it!

I use tampons and pads

I just started using a cup after only ever using pads. I've used it for one cycle so far and it worked great! I chose the Lunette cup because it is supposed to have some better design features than the Diva Cup, but my main deciding factor was the fact that Lunette cups come in a variety of fun colors! I ordered it straight from their website with no problems, and I'd definitely recommend it.

I use a Lunette cup. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I'm happy with it.
