Venting and Question For Girls and The Guys On Ovulation......

I can always tell, I've been able to since I started ovulating.

And being a domme myself, the way he responded really wasn't proper, at least for the majority of D/s and M/s dynamics (everyone has their own obviously). But part of the responsibility of a domme or dominant is to understand the responsibility of NOT going too far, and it seems to me that's what he did.

Now that you mention knowing if OTHER women are ovulating...

I remember a study they did that showed strippers got more tips than average when ovulating, fewer on their period - and ones on BC were ... more
That's certainly interesting and I think I read something just recently about that. I guess they act more wild cause of the hormones, so that gets the guys more worked up.
I've also just read that guys can sometimes pick up on something (probably something they aren't even aware of at the time) when their partner is ovulating and they tend to be more possessive/protective over them.

I'd like to think that he may learn from this experience.
I once read something that said most people who passes through our lives teaches us something or helpped us out in some way when we needed that.
Would be nice if I crossed his path to teach him to not be so blunt or come across as being disrespectful to future subs - for his sake and theirs.

I know I ovulate for two weeks, but I can't tell the exact day I start. All I know is my drive decreases a touch. Yeah, I don't get it either.

It's definitely related to scent. My ex-husband, who didn't have much of a libido, really did notice when I was ovulating by my scent. He said that it was a very subtle shift in range and striking power and that I smelled "so damn yummy" ... and his response was just more intense cuddling. *facepalm*

I was on the pill when I met Master, and had only recently got my tubes tied so I'm going off the pill. It'll be interesting to find out his reaction when we visit each other again.

I'm glad it was a misunderstanding between you two, Shellz, but his reaction was still uncalled for. But maybe you can help soften those edges and teach him how to be a proper Master.

I always know when I'm ovulating, from ovarian pain, thicker vaginal mucus, and my own smell. I also know because I get more of a drive, and tend to be more firm with my sub.

i personally cannot tell when i'm ovulating, but i know people who can. and i think it's amazing that you are so in tune with your body, that you know. and i hope one day, i will know as well.

as for the Dom situation. drop that ass hole. he definitely has no right to tell you that something you believe and know to be TRUE is "bullshit." he is not a woman, and he has no clue. whether he reads 'medical journals' or not, he knows nothing about you or your body. you deserve respect, in all aspects of your life - in and out of a Dom/Sub situation.

Wow, sorry, but it sounds like your dom is a dimwit. I can tell my period's coming 2 or 3 weeks ahead of time (I only get one every 3 months) because my breasts start hurting and suddenly I cry over silly things like spilled milk.
I can't believe he had the gall to try telling you how YOUR body works. He wouldn't know. He's never experienced a menstrual cycle himself.

I can't vote. No "I have no freaking ideA" option. Honestly, I just don't pay attention.
