i wax, its painful in spots but most creams make me break out or burn my skin

An epilator is the way to go. Might sting at first, but it gets better and definitely better than shaving and hurts much less than waxing though with the same results.

I like waxing becuase it lasts longer but it gets expensive if you don't do it yourself.

I prefer to shave or trim areas. I don't like the idea of waxing. The idea that I could feel pain from it makes me like "nooo" although most of the time I cut or razor burn myself, so that makes no sense either. I guess one feels like a more normalized pain and thus less scary pain

I either shave or use Veet (it's like nair, but 100 times better!) Veet doesn't burn you like nair does, and the smell isn't as bad as nair.

Another wax that's good is nairs sugar wax. I use it and love it! Also it costs less and lasts a really long time. You hardly need any to do most areas. Comes with disposable/reusable/wa shable strips as well. And smells pretty

Shaving makes me break out, waxing just seems like it'd just plain hurt AND make me break out.
I have never looked into laser or anything else like that.

So I use Nair Lotion with aloe.
It doesn't make break out, doesn't give me ingrown hairs and leaves my skin soft.
