Very rarely am I NOT wet and ready!
Ladies, are you always "wet enough" to at least start "playing" down there?

I'm wet enough on my own (often seems like almost too much where I'd like some friction) but use lube with toys and of course for anal.

After I started taking birth control I got a little dryer so now I'm only wet when I'm aroused

I read so much here about "dependence" on lube, and dryness. How common is this? I tend to stay "wet" always. I am "wet enough" that my hubby can penetrate me comfortably in my sleep (I always wake up with a smile if he does that) or just pop it to me if I bend over to pick up dog toys (sometimes I do it as a tease, other times it is a surprise...but hey, it is all good. What better way to get a quicky and break the monotony of chores??? Anyway, of course, when "turned on" I get REALLY soaked, and YES, after a while of "friction" I too use and enjoy lubes, but I am talking about initial, right now, are you wet enough for comfortable penetration? The fact I am over fifty now makes me THINK that if all I hear is correct, I SHOULD have "vaginal dryness" (you hear enough ads about things to help it)!!! Thankfully, no issues yet. SO...again, HOW COMMON IS IT TO STAY WET or run DRY mostly???

I'm pretty much wet!

annoyingly depends....if im turned on then im wet on the spot, if i decide to get off then im dry and it takes time tp feel comfortably wet, if its not working out i use a little lube

I am wet enough on my own if I'm turned on, usually. I mainly just use lube for anal.

I chose the first two options. It doesn't take much to get me wet, lol.

It doesn't take a lot to get me lubricated, but just walking around during the day I'm not usually ready to go.

I'm 31, for whatever that's worth, but I've noticed that I'm usually somewhat wet, and when I'm ovulating, it's just plain ridiculous!

By the way, I have recently discovered that if I eat a handful of raw, unsalted pumpkin seeds, anywhere from 1-2 hours later, I will have a pretty significant spike in arousal (physical and otherwise). If you have the inclination to give it a try, I would recommend doing so--for the first couple of days, I couldn't for the life of me figure out what was wrong with me, and then I realized it was the pumpkin seeds!

It generally takes a good deal of effort to keep me lubed up (natural or otherwise) during sex. Just last night I had to "reload" a good five or six times.

I'm typically fairly wet most of the time, not enough for penetration but touching isn't going to be uncomfortable.

have to be aroused, but that's never an issue

I've never naturally been what I would call "wet." I almost always need oral first, or we use lube. When I'm ovulating, my insides are slippery enough to get started with penetration, but we keep a bottle of lube nearby just in case.
For the women who are naturally wet, what is the difference between vaginal discharge and vaginal lubrication, as far as texture is concerned? Is natural wetness like a thin, runny lube?
I've heard plenty of women say they are "dripping wet," but I can't wrap my mind around what that would feel or even look like.

I unfortunately stay pretty dry

Regular vaginal discharge can be any sort of consistency, because it's mostly cervical fluid, which changes during your cycle, and only a little bit of vaginal lubrication. Lubrication itself is usually thin and clear to start out with, but I've noticed if I'm being penetrated it can become thick and creamy.

Vaginally, I don't need to use any lube unless it's with a Silicone toy that has immense drag - and then I only use a little to help make play more comfortable. Anal play - definite lube... but other than that (and external play with the Eroscillator), I make more than enough of my own lubricant that I don't need to use purchased lube.

Wife use to get wet rather quickly, now with advancing age we depend on lubes.

Very rarely am I genuinely wet. I've always had dryness problems.
