Shaving. I do pretty well with a razor and water. Don't need shaving cream. I just go by feel.

The Sally Hansen wax kit with the warmer is a pretty nice home wax kit, best one I've used so far.

I wax. DIY at home kinda sucks, but it's so much cheaper than dropping $50+ every 3-4 weeks at the salon.

I usually shave, but I've gotten into waxing lately. When I had it done by a professional, I enjoyed the smooth feel for awhile, but I didn't think it was quite worth what I paid for it -- the results were not as perfect as they should've been for $60. So, I've started trying various at-home methods, since I know I can handle the pain.
So far, I haven't had much luck finding an at home method.... 1st time -- wax strips pulled off taking next to no hair with them. Second time -- wax WOULD NOT come off no matter how hard I pulled....it took me an hour to finally peel it off of me. It did, however, take a lot of the hair off with when it came out. I ended up having to shave the rest of the hair off, though.
So... I checked both shave and wax. less

Use powder on the area first, it takes care of 2 things 1- soaks up any moisture that will keep the hair from adhering to the wax and 2- keeps the wax from sticking as much too the skin.
Stuff is expensive but works, wish I could afford to get it all the time- Tend Skin is good for aftercare.

I actually use the GiGi Hard Wax. You need to invest in the warmer, but it's awesome.

Shaving. I don't like waxing on my own and I cannot afford to get it done. In the summer I will sometimes.
