Ever Had Your Boobs Sized?

Contributor: BlackxxxRose BlackxxxRose
I've gotten sized in stores and by myself several times. Ultimately if a bra is uncomfortable, I don't buy it or wear it though. I almost always try on a bra before I buy it because I have a very uncommon size and because of the size of my nipples I often get mistaken for having larger boobs than I do.

I just went the other day! I really was wearing the wrong size! I am a 40DDD! I found online how to measure myself, did it. And I came up with the same size as the lady did. So now I know I can do it myself! It really is easy! I got a new bra and it is so comfortable.

One of my breasts is bigger than the other so I've been sized twice and gotten two different results, I have a B and C cup so I just try on each size when I like a bra and see what feels best.

Yep, I thought I was a D but I'm really a 48DD/E cup. You have no fucking idea how hard it is to find bras for my size, especially good quality ones.

I never have a comparative sizing problem with VS. I'm a 34D. When I gain 15 pounds, I'm a full 34D that hasn't grown quite enough to go up a size either band or cup. In anything I've tried. When I'm closer to 130 like I am now, I'm a mid/small 34D and can *sometimes* wear 34Cs, but the cup is still often too small anyway. the band on a 36 is always too big. And that's with respect to MANY other brands, not just VS.

Every time I've been measured, by seamstress types, bra fitters at high end stores, bra fitters at victorias secret, various at home methods of measurement, I pretty much always come out at a 34D.

Yeah, but I doubt I will again. The bra's they size me for are always like 6 times bigger than what I find comfortable/ attractive. :s

I'm small. I know I'm the correct size.

I work at Lane Bryant and size women all the time. Only a few will walk out in the same size bra that they came in wearing.

Only when I got my first bra. I measured myself recently - I thought I was a 36B but apparently I'm 30D? Wtf?

I don't get sized often enough. I really should get sized again soon, but I have been sized.

I've sized myself. I know what my usual size is but it varies a little bit by brand, materials used etc. Most women assume their cups are smaller and band size a lot bigger than what it is in reality.

I was just sized about a week ago at Nordstroms and found out my breasts were far bigger than I actually THOUGHT they were! I went from being a size 44D to being a size 40F (which is both technically a size F and DDD). I was not expecting my breasts to be so large, especially since it's hard to tell what size they are unless you get fitted every once in a while! The last time I had a fitting was probably back in 2006 or such. xD

No because different stores different sizes aren't always the same. Like Victorias secret D cups are smaller than Kohls D cups. So I usually just try on a lot of stuff when I got to a store. My size ranges from a 34 D to a 34DD.

i've had it done once at victoria's secret. i'd probably do it again since i've lost weight over the year. nice thing is that it's free and they have frequent sales.

I wouldn't gt it done at a VS. They don't properly train their employees, so you're not likely to get the right fit.

You should probably go to a Nordstrom. They do it for free, too, and sell better quality bras than VS does, anyway.

I get my boobs sized pretty often. Whenever I go to get new bras from Lane Bryant, I get sized at Nordstrom first. I'm currently a 38/40 DDD.

I had my breasts sized at Victoria Secret a few months ago and actually found out I was wearing a bra too big for me. I was wearing a DD after I had my daughter and I was actually a D 38.
