Forgive me if you felt chastised, but it's not an accurate statement and can be extremely hurtful to people who have addictions. While the chemicals may stop them from being able to control their behavior, the underlying nature of the person is really the root of the problem. Not the drugs or alcohol. It's sort of like saying that people who are into BDSM secretly want to maim and torture people without boundaries and that's not the case. Though, I will agree that people who abuse substances tend to have something deep and dark within their hearts that they're fighting to gain control over and the substances null the pain they experience. It's a catch-22.

Research into this subject has found that smoking mariuana does cause erectile problems. Even so, I have heard many men say that they had the bes sex while they were high. Try Google, but remember, there are always exceptions to the rules!!!
