birth control numbed me entirely

My sex drive was ridiculously high before Nuva Ring, and its still ridiculously high. No change at all for me.

im really not sure i never had sex while off it and as for masturbation.....i dont really remember

its killing me how not sexy i feel now that im on the pill :/

I've tried three different generics for by BC. On the first one, my sex drive plummeted, plus it screwed up my moods. On the other two, I noticed a small dip, but it wasn't a big deal.

I was on the pill for a really long time, but I never had any changes. I recently switched to the Patch. I love it. Seriously. It's so relaxing only having to change a patch once a week. I don't have any side effects at all like I did with the pill. The pill I would be nauseous for 3 months after switching kinds, I'd have major hormonal swings. But with the Patch I haven't had any of them. I really like my patch. I do however get a little rash on the spot where my patch is. It goes away after removing the patch. I think it's more because you are wearing a patch in the same place for 7 days, so the skin isn't breathing.

I'm on the pill right now and have been for about 7 years. In all that time my sex drive hasn't been affected by the birth control.

I'm not on birth control any more (YAY VASECTOMY!), but when I was, I didn't notice a change at all in my sex drive.

I'm not on birth control and haven't been for years and when I was on it I was just married so sex always happened.

I was on Mirena while my husband was deployed. When he came back I had no drive for sex. Once I had it taken out my sex drive came back. So much happier now.

I took a couple different brands of birth control pills and they always reduced my sex drive by a lot. I always considered it a horrible joke. When I *could* have sex, I didn't want to, when I *shouldn't* I desperately wanted it. Now I'm on Mirena and I've been called "insatiable." Happy ending!

There was a definite decrease.

No change for my girlfriend

It was the same as it always had been but once on birth control felt more freedom to do what I wanted when I wanted. I was mostly on the pills, In between breaks from the pull I was on the diaphragm and did a quick one week stint with the IUD.

I didn't feel like I had a sex drive until I stopped taking the hormonal birth control pill

I didn't realize I had such a high sex drive until I stopped taking birth control.
