I've had a crush who actually was autistic, but he was so sweet, and so intelligent, and I think that falling in love is the most beautiful thing in the world, no matter who it's with. Have you ever done this?
my boyfriend has chronic depression and when he was a kid he used to have delusions. my own mental issues help me understand his, so we have a mutual empathy because of them. love is a beautiful thing, no matter who its for.
My ex boyfriend had suffered some brain damage after a car accident and also had damaged nerves that caused a constant tremor in his hands. I never really thought of it as a handicap, but I guess it would count.
Mine's more of an other. I had a friends with benefits thing in the past with someone that was legally blind, but I can't say that I have ever desired to be in a romantic relationship with someone with a physical handicap, not that it would be outside the realm of possibility. Mental limitations however would be if they were beyond an acute situation. That's only because I work with that population though.
One. I did date her. She had something like aspergers, but lived a relatively normal life.
I also had a friend that definitely had aspergers that was in love with me for a long time. One mentally handicapped guy made a move on me once too, but I never pursued anything with either of them.

Currently I am in a long-term relationship with a blind man. I love him very much and his disability means nothing to me.
