My parents are like, 20 years apart. So 13 is nothing
Is a 13 year difference in a relationship weird?

nope if you are both OK with it

I don't think it's weird at all. In fact I think this is better than being in a relationship with a really young guy. Younger men need to be mommy'd and become dependent on everything including money. An older man, to my way of thinking anyways, is more mature and can take care of you instead of the other way around.

I'm sorry. My ex-husband was ten years older but he wanted a mommy and couldn't hold onto a job because he was immature. I made the assumption that all older men were mature and responsible. It forced me to actually pay attention to them as people rather than their age.

As long as you're compatible in other things, age is not a factor.

I wouldn't find it strange or weird at all, and I have a lot of friends in relationships where there is a huge age difference, much more than that in a lot of cases, and they make an incredible couple, they're happy, so why not

I'm currently 21, and my partner is 38. We're 17 years apart, so I'd be crazy to say he and I are any better than you! My parents are 10 years apart exactly though, so I grew up with a "large" age gap around me.

There's nothing wrong with that

My bf and I are 7 years apart...his best friend is about 16 years older than his wife (and 15 years younger than his ex-wide), so I don't find it weird at all!

It's only weird if you make it weird, my fiance and I are 20 years apart, and we love every minute of our lives together!
