I don't think anyone on this site would consider me old! To me, an old person is over 75. I know plenty of 50 and 60 year olds who are full of vigor! Around 75 things seem to start going downhill. Just my opinion!

I'm only 25, but I feel old! Too many health problems and not relating to people my own age might be the reason.

I don't feel old, but I often wonder if others see me that way. I used to put an age to my definition of 'old'. Once I learned I was getting to that age faster than I ever imagined, I stopped doing that.

You really cannot deny 70 or 80 is an old age for a person, but I think "old" is also a mindset.

I know people at 25 who started slowing down, talking about being old and they became boring. When my parents started saying that they were old they seemed to decline, but many other people their age seem vigorous. I suppose health problems don't help, but surrendering to something isn't good, either.

I just am over thirty and feel like I'm still 20. People close to 20 are surprised when they hear I'm not "one of them". I hope to keep this up.

I didn't start feeling old until I had specific memories of my parents at the same age I am now.

Though I feel a little bit in my body that I am older now (57), I am still much younger in many ways than others in my age.

I do think that with a healthy enough lifestyle (meaning it for your mind and soul too of course!) it doesn't matter how old you are, because if your mind and soul stay fresh and active and jolly then with a healthy body there is nothing to make you feel your actual age! ^^

Though I'm definitely young, for me old would be 60s to 70s, though it can definitely be an attitude thing. I've seen people in their 80s who seemed more youthful than people in their 50s

I am 42. I have days when I feel physically old due to aches and pains from arthritis. However mentally I still feel about 25. I feel that old is around 75-80 depending on the mindset.

The age of old seems to move up every year. Am I old? No, I'd rather think that I am a 30 year old trapped in a 60 year old body.

I'm 30 and feel young. I have no health problems and I 've been told numerous times that I look younger than I am.

I think old is in the 70's-80's depending on how a person took are of theirself.

No such thing as "old", really. Sure, someone is elderly when in their 70s and up, but age is a relative concept... sort of.

'Old' to me is when I can't move around efficiently, and cannot enjoy all the food I love anymore.

I'm not old, but I do think I have a scary age that I am kind of dreading. But beauty like youth is in the eye of the beholder

No such thing as old. I refuse to believe it and I refuse to EVER be "old." LOL. I'm only 22 and very young both in age and at heart and want to be that way forever. I'm sure it's challenging to keep your youthful, playful self, but I think it's possible and I think I'll be one of those old young ladies! Lol. I'll be the 80 year old grandma still wearing sparkles on my eyelids and short zebra printed dresses. LOL.

Old is one of those very nebulous concepts to me. There are a lot of factors that go into whether a person seems old, from their activity level to health to state of mind. I had a great-grandfather who stayed very active until his death from cancer in his 90's, and I would only have thought him old for those last few months of his decline. My father, on the other hand, is in his early sixties and looks and behaves much older than his own mother.

It also depends on what circles you're moving in. I spend a lot of time in anime and roleplaying circles where my 31 years seems "old" to a lot of the people in their late teens and early twenties. I find it pretty hilarious, honestly.

I have a lot of health problems, so I could see defining myself as old a lot younger than perhaps some other people... that is, if I didn't absolutely refuse to grow up.

I consider old when you are to be in a nursing home, which could be from age 50 and higher. If you are 80 and still moving around, doing chores and what not, you ain't old in my opinion.

I'm only 22, and I've believed that since I was probably 10.

I think old is about 25 years older than yourself. So if you're 30? 55. 55? 80.

i'm 20 myself.

I totally agree that old is a mindset. I know old people my age and young people in their 70s. A lot of it is how you interact with people and how you view life.
