I only have rechargeables.
Would you replace all of your battery-operated toys with rechargeables?

I hope to get some rechargeable toys soon so I can see if I like it better! I think I will.

I'm getting there.

I have been seriously considering this lately. I want to start phasing out all of my toys that require batteries. They cause me nothing but grief, despite being awesome toys in and of themselves, it's a pain in my butt and a drain on my wallet to have to buy batteries for them. They're never operating at full power when I need them to be! Not to mention they're terrible for the environment.
For example, I recently replaced my favorite traditional vibrator, the Stellar Vibe Heaven (discontinued) with the Fun Factory Mini Bubbles.
Now I'm hunting for a replacement for my favorite clitoral stimulator of all time, the Compact mini vibe G, which is obviously a poorly designed G-spot vibrator (and which has also recently been discontinued).
I'm currently trying the We-Vibe Tango to replace the Compact G, but it hasn't really measured up yet...In fact, neither has the Bubbles, in place of the Stellar Heaven! However, the upgrade from a Jack Rabbit to an Ina was a DEFINITE improvement.
Would you consider replacing all of your battery operated toys with rechargeable ones? Why or why not? Have you already done so? Do you have any tips and tricks for finding things that work for you?
As always, please search for toy recycling programs before throwing away any old or broken toys...or toys that are simply being replaced or improved upon less

I'll supplement our current collection, but battery and AC powered definitely have their place.

I prefer rechargeable toys. Somehow I feel like there's less hassle involved. For my battery operated ones, I use rechargeable batteries.

I like them both ways. it doesn't really matter to me.

It's kind of a hassle though.

If its not broke don't fix it, but when buying new toys I do take rechargeability into the mix

I only buy rechargeable toys when i can

I have been "phasing out" battery toys as well. However, they aren't always as good options for toys that are rechargeable. So, I'm still stuck with some with batteries for now.

My wife's favorite powered toy (actually the only one she ever uses) is the Hitachi magic wand. My favorite is the eSensual bullet. Both are plug-ins. I do have a couple of other bullet vibes that use batteries, but they don't get much use. I use rechargeable batteries for a lot of things, but since those toys don't get much use, I use alkalines in them (sigh). Corded is the way to go as far as I'm concerned.

most of mine are rechargeable

I only have a few battery operated toys, and I try to buy rechargeable toys as much as possible.

I really like my rechargables. It now affects my decision on buying.

This is basically what I've done. I didn't have a lot of toys to begin with before buying rechargeable toys though so it wasn't really replacement so much as... Building an army or something lol.
