When choosing toys, how much does the color and design influence your opinion?

Function over looks even though looks help but I couldn't overlook a major flaw just because the toy was pretty

Functionality is all-important to me. Cute or pretty is just icing.

I have tested enough flawed but pretty toys to know that I will take slightly ugly but works like a champ over super pretty but "meh" in bed. I usually play in the dark when I'm alone so what use is pretty then?

I agree completely. Thankfully there's companies that have good design to their products. And then there's the Eroscillator.

True, pretty is not enough of a reason to have a crappy toy. I actually just canceled an order on something that had gone out of stock while processing. I thought it was gorgeous, then the reviews came in saying that was the best thing about it. If I want to buy something to simply be aesthetically pleasing I'll buy a sculpture or something.

Personally though, I tend to play during the day so I do prefer pretty along with function.

Function over looks. My wife's all time favorite toy is the Eroscillator 2 deluxe with the grapes attachment.

I had posted a second time here in error, but I will try and qualify what I previous said regarding the Eroscillator.

I feel that both form and function is important with regard to a toy. Of the two however, function is most important. I feel that the Eroscillator is a good example of form and function. I feel that it’s oscillating function is unmatched by other toys. Though obviously beauty is in the eye of the beholder and subjective, I also find Eroscillators form to be quite attractive.

Sorry again for the double post.
