I'll turn it on and cycle thru the functions while holding it. I can usually tell from there if I will like it or not.
Can you tell if you'll like a vibrator as soon as you turn it on?

If not, it's probably bad anyways.
09/17/2012
Yes, most of the time.
09/17/2012
Most of the time.
09/17/2012
Most of the time. It's gotta be powerful.
09/17/2012
Most of the time we have a good idea as soon as we get it out of the box and turn it on. Occasionally we've been surprised, but probably 90% of the time we're right.

Sometimes I can, but my hands are not very sensitive so I can't always tell. I've heard that putting the vibrator against the tip of your nose will give you a better idea (which I have had better luck with). It sounds silly but for those of you who don't have very sensitive hands it might be worth a try

Sometimes? I only have two toys so I dunno.
04/17/2013
Most of the time. I usually tend to have more problems with the smaller high powered vibes because they're just so hard to hang onto.
04/18/2013
Yes, I can usually tell my the way the toy feels in my hand, if it's hard, soft, smooth, etc. and also by the strength of the vibrations as I go through the settings.
04/18/2013
When it comes to being used for clitoral stimulation I can usually tell right away. If it going to be inserted I won't know until I do it.
04/18/2013
We can usually tell pretty quickly if we will like it or not.
04/18/2013
Not really.
04/18/2013
Sometimes, by how strong and loud it is.
04/18/2013
I can usually tell right out of the packaging if I am going to like it or not. Turning it on and feeling the vibrations changes my mind to being a firm yes or no. Out of the last maybe hundred toys, I've been surprised twice.

Almost always. It's actually easier to decide immediately if I'll hate a vibrator. I like deep, rumbly vibrations, so if the toy is buzzy, I know it won't do anything for me.

Yeah pretty much. It has to be ridiculously powerful.
04/29/2013

yes, most of the time

05/17/2013
