Three days without sleep is really rough, and I wouldn't do it unless I had to, but three days without sex is even worse.

Partly because there's never a reason to go three days without sex.

Without sleep, maybe there's something really big and important at work and nobody knows how to do it but you. But there's no good reason why you would be in a relationship and go three days without sex.

I've gone much, much, much longer without sex. It's no big deal. I can't function without sleeping less than 8-9 hours a night. Just one bad night is enough to make me feel sick for the next few days.

If I didn't need sleep, however, that would be an entirely different story.

There's lots of times I go three days without sex. Sometimes there's no time. Sometimes we're just not in the mood. It doesn't bother me (usually and when it does, I'll tell him).

But three days without sleep? NO, THANK YOU! I have anemia and I can barely make it 12 hours without sleep, let alone an entire day (or three!) so yes, I'd much rather give up sex for three days than sleep.

Dear god, let me have my sleep. To be tired is freaking uncomfortable for me and affects my mood something terrible - after about a day without sleep I'll be laughing one second and crying the next, and my brain will just be in a kind of barely-functioning, muddy haze.

I don't see how anyone could willingly go for three days without sleeping, especially when you factor in how unhealthy and dangerous doing so is. (How would you even have the energy to have sex?)

I've gone virtually 3 days with no sleep when we had a colicky baby who was up every 45 minutes. I was no good for anyone. I certainly didn't feel like having sex, that's for sure.

Now, skipping a few hours of sleep to get some sex in is a different story. I'll wake up at 4:00 AM or not get to sleep until after 1:00 AM (we usually go to be early) in order to fit some sex in. But, three days with no sleep is hell.

i cna go three days with out it or weeks and months b ut im an insomniac and i have a written and verbalc ontratc with my so that ill get my daily hours of sleep

Even if I wanted to choose going without sleep since I do like sex better, my body would shut down after about 48 hours and I would fall alseep anyway. Realisticly I can only stay awake for 36 hours.
