I keep two separate boxes.
What happens to the toys you don't like?

We'll give them a few tries, but if they're not for us they go in the trash

Keep for a while. End up throwing old unused ones away. I've asked the wife if she wanted to give some away to her single friends, but she said No. Recently sold a Cone for low price.

I usually just throw away toys if they don't do much for me and I recently weeded through my whole collection and got rid of everything I wasn't crazy about (and pretty much everything I bought when I first started getting into sex toys) so my toy box is now down to just my few favorites. If I get free stuff that I don't need I save them for friends.
I've seen people with hundreds of toys in their collections so I've been wondering if other people just keep everything they get regardless of whether or not they enjoy the toys? (And if you keep all your toys, does your collection ever feel cluttered with things you don't use often? Do you keep giving the bad toys second chances?)
I'd really love to know what happens to all the unloved toys out there. less

The only items I ever give away are metal and glass. While none of my friends would mind the pure silicone ones, since I no longer own autoclaves (previous business I owned), they can't be fully sterilized and I really don't feel comfortable with giving them to someone - regardless of the fact I've never had ANY type of STI/STD.
Most toys, I just toss because of their chemical makeup, but there are some (all plastic, etc) that I'll chuck in the recycle bin from time to time. Funny enough, it keeps the guy on our street that likes to dig through peoples' recycle bins from getting into ours (after he found that first one the first day we moved in, he hasn't touched ours since). If I'm paying to have the city take my recycleables, then I'm letting them and only them take my goodies away.

I have done a little of all the choices. I still have some that I don't like. I have thrown one away that was this scary looking bunny thing. I also sold some that I never used or got duplicates of.

We honestly just let them sit and collect dust. Selling them or giving them away just seems odd to us. =P

It really depends which toys! If I order them or receive them from here I always try them at least a couple times, if I know I don't like that type then I will sell em or give them to a friend. Other wise I will keep them as long as I can, hoping to try them again, but eventually I have to get rid of them, so If I have the money I recycle them if not I have to throw them in the trash And I feel bad about it, but money is tight you know?

They fill closets, and suitcases, boxes and drawers in my house. I really need to "purge" them, but it's so hard to do. Some I darn well know I will never, ever use again, but tossing them seems like tossing money away. Arrgghh. In fact, the only purge I ever did was about 100 toys that I loved!!! All my "jellies" that everyone was lecturing about being dangerous here.
