I am going on a TOY DESTRUCTION BINGE today. Cleaning out my closet of Jellies...even my favorites. Anyone else ever do a major PURGE of toys after reading links here at EF???

I'm getting rid of my 18" jelly double dong because it STILL smells and because of everything that I read on Eden. I'm glad I don't have more jelly toys...

I never bought any jelly toys. All of mine are silicone, glass, and steel, so they should stay around for a long time to come.

Tuesday - I agree. Like many we started out with jelly toys and like the softer feel and lower price. But once we decided that toys would be a regular part of our sex-play, we upgraded the materials. Although that started with glass and steel - when we started experimenting with dual-density silicone - starting with the O2 Revolution then VixSkin Johnny - we were hooked.

My wife claims that the Johnny we have is the most comfortable dildo in the world - she swears it feels just like me. I just wish I was that large!

Back to your point - it is not necessary to sacrifice safety for comfort anymore - go Vixskin every time.

The packaging of this toy says "phthalate free".

It caused some swelling and itching that lasted about 5 days, then I read EF sex tip article Phtha-what? The Facts on Phthalates and Sex Toys.

Reading the article had me return to the packaging which also says "Sold as a novelty only", in much smaller print than the "phthalate free".

To answer the direct question beginning this discussion, because of reading EF artilcles, I've made a bulk purchase (for price per sex session savings) of condoms for potentially porous or chemically risky toys that are too pleasurable to pass up.

They give you $10 credit to their store, which is much worse than Eden but hey, you still get something for free! You don't have to know what it's made of!

We just pitched out at least a dozen "high end" older vibes. Now we only have lelo, fun factory, tantus or the like silicone toys. Unless you count the gold Jimmy James.......

I will be VERY sad to see the trash truck haul them away, but if HALF of ... more
Toys do get purged from time to time but not because of reading safety concerns, merely because I end up buying better and new stuff from EF, lol. Gotta keep things down to manageable levels that can be neatly tucked away after all.

I've been meaning to get rid of a couple, but I'm waiting until I get some of better quality.

I got rid of my jellies before I joined Eden. And I was happy to do so. Only good quality materials for me now!

I had to toss out my 60 dollar jelly vibrator after reading this site. It SUCKED.

I was tempted to buy a jelly toy when I was looking for my first toy last year because of the price, but the negatives outweighed the low price. Spent a few extra dollars for a lovely silicone toy I'll have for years to come.

I have one jelly/silicone rabbit that a friend bought me, it was my first sex toy, but I think it's time to throw it out.

I also have a Ballsy Supercock that I was assigned to review, and it stinks. My boyfriend is a size queen and he loves it, and I would throw it out if he didn't love it so much.
