I'm not afraid of them but I don't think my body can handle anything that rigid.

I love glass dildos but I have found that using them too long for consecutive days will bruise me.

not really,

im not worried about them breaking but i don't think that kind of hardness would be comfortable for me

This conversation, whenever it comes up, is so silly to me. It's not like they are delicate, hollow pieces of glass that can break with the greatest of ease. Glass is super safe, and all it takes is a little research to put your mind at ease about it. Don't worry about it.

It's not scary. lol But I wouldn't trust my SO with it. Maybe then I'd be afraid.

I was very scared at the thought of using glass as well, until my husband recently made a secret purchase that involved a free glass dildo. We live long distance so he got it shipped to our house and he wanted me to try it before he got home to see how I liked it. Now not only was I hesitant because of it being glass, but i'm not the one to masturbate as well. I've never found it pleasurable for me. However, I did try it for him and I will say that it was pleasurable, not to the point where it got me off, cause like I mentioned before I'm not one to masturbate, but it did feel quite good. However, they don't have any give, so for that reason I will stick to my vibes!

I've never worried about it. They're always very solid and don't seem to suggest at all that they'll shatter or chip.

I love my glass. Just take care and check it frequently for chips or cracks.

i love glass

No, I love my glass toys and I have lots of them. My pussy is not that strong!!

Honestly, yeah. I've never used a glass toy. I've seen some nice ones though, and I'm thinking of giving one a try.

Nope, not even a little bit. Glass toys feel sturdy and solid, and are made to last!

I'm not concerned. I actually dropped a glass butt plug (Icicles No. 26) in the shower today and it was fine. It didn't drop on tiling but on some sort of resin material my shower cubicle's floor is made out. Still a hard surface, though. There's wasn't any nicks or scratches on it so I just continued to use it.

Doesn't scare me at all!

You do have to use a little bit of care when thrusting, because it's a rigid toy, and if you're too overenthusiastic you could manage to bruise your cervix. If you're playing alone, that's pretty unlikely, because you'll be able to feel what you're doing, though, so it's more of a concern with partners.
If you're concerned about glass breaking, remember that it's pyrex glass. If you drop it on a hard enough surface, it will break into chunks, not shards, if it breaks at all. It's nearly impossible to break while in use -- it's a solid piece of glass.
You should always inspect glass toys before use, just to make sure it doesn't have a chip or a stress fracture, just in case, but if you store them with a reasonable amount of care, it's pretty unlikely that they'll get damaged. less
