Not at all. I love glass! It's non-porous, easy to clean, and it can be sterilized. Plus it doesn't contain any harmful chemicals.

You do have to use a little bit of care when thrusting, because it's a rigid toy, and if you're too overenthusiastic you could manage to bruise your cervix. If you're playing alone, that's pretty unlikely, because you'll be able to feel what you're doing, though, so it's more of a concern with partners.

If you're concerned about glass breaking, remember that it's pyrex glass. If you drop it on a hard enough surface, it will break into chunks, not shards, if it breaks at all. It's nearly impossible to break while in use -- it's a solid piece of glass.

You should always inspect glass toys before use, just to make sure it doesn't have a chip or a stress fracture, just in case, but if you store them with a reasonable amount of care, it's pretty unlikely that they'll get damaged. less
