In general no I wouldn't be turned off a highly rated lube if I didn't like its packaging. I'm not buying it for what it looks like, I'm buying it for how it works.

In general I find that the better quality lubes have more appealing packaging anyways. And the more information on them, the better.

how much does packaging influence your purchase? for me, the gawdy and tacky packaging is a total turn off- even if it has high ratings! should you really judge a lube by its cover?

If it is a solid product I would still buy it.

Not too worried about packaging but do prefer pumps for easy access. Not a fan of handling slimey, slippery bottles.

If the packaging is really horrible or gawdy, I'll think twice about getting it. But if it's a very highly rated product and has great reviews, I could overlook its packaging.

It doesn't really influence my purchase. But, sometimes I do want items to be more discreet.

I agree if the lube works great then who cares about the packaging. When this does get used up I will be getting another bottle.
