Easiest to size right is a babydoll, plus you can find classy and sexy yet modest or not depending on how she is. If she is more shy or worried about weight or if you don't know her sizes this is a perfect choice.

I certainly think that babydolls say "classy but sexy" while providing an easier fit and more comfort. Probably the easiest thing for you to get right unless you shop for her consistently

Wow, I guess I'm in the minority here, because I hardly ever like babydolls. I've found a couple that work for me, but more often than not, I think they look like maternity shirts, or they obscure your curves. I suppose it depends on your wife's body type, but I love chemises, myself.
