I find it really depends on what you're planning to do in your garter belt. Six straps frequently hold the tights up better, so they may be better for dancing and such. However, I like the look of four strap garter belts a little better!

I don't think I've ever used a six strap belt but I kind of like four. I already have enough trouble getting the back two over my big bum!

I love 4 when I'm trying to be cute indoors, but I much much much prefer 6 when I am wearing them outside under clothes (yes I really do wear them instead of pantyhose or tights!).
