Bra-less... good? or bad?

Contributor: DragonEyes DragonEyes
I was close to choosing A cup only but then I chose never. I remembered I used to work with someone who had AA's and she never wore a bra and it was distracting lol. I dunno if she couldn't find any bra to fit her or if she just didn't care but she always wore very thin fabric shirts. I'm an A cup but I'd never go bra less because my nips would always be standing at attention because I'm usually always cold. I go bra-less at home though. I would also guess that the boyfriend wouldn't appreciate it if I went out in public with no bra. Well, he'd like it but he wouldn't like all the attention other guys would be giving me. :p

Whatever the woman is comfortable with and doesn't look inappropriate! It's probably 'easier'/less obvious for ladies with smaller breasts, though I usually prefer to wear them when out.

I don't mind one way or the other, I like to look, but my wife who used to be a H-cup before reduction surgery has told me that it hurts especially for larger sizes.

Around my house, I go completely commando (no undergarments at all), but I feel really self-conscious if I'm outside without a bra on. That, and I'm always pretty aware when they move at all, especially around my period when they get sore, even though I'm not really big-boobed (a high A or low B, depending on the make of the bra).

I really don't have an objection to other women going bra-less, but it is a bit uncomfortable to me to see a woman with huge or saggy breasts going without one. Still, to each her own.

Over an a cup tends to spread out and look funny. Just my opinion.

I would expect it to be uncomfortable if they are large enough!

Personally I can't. I'm OCD worried about sagging. I'm a DD and already worried they are lower than they should be.. ARGH! Now I'm worried again. *hides breasts*

I didnt vote. This may sound bad, but I think it really depends on the size and shape of the women. Lets face some women need a bra and others dont for a lot of reasons.

The only reason i say no is i would hate to see them all down to your knees at an early age lol take care of them things other than that def hate when my wife wants to sleep in one >.< no need for it in bed imo or in house etc but should def use for that support majority of time or your gonna have some very nice canoe shaped breasts lol.

I may check my mailbox sans bra but otherwise, I don't leave the house without a bra. When I'm home, though, I seldom have a bra on unless I have company (and even then, I'll still only wear one 50% of the time). Even my best fitting bras become uncomfortable after just a few hours.

It's ok for A and B cup, even some smaller C cups can get away with it. Anything bigger should always have a bra on, except to sleep, shower, and swim. It makes the breasts sag after a while when they are bigger.

I think its okay if you are an A cup. Anything larger, I don't think its okay. When you are a larger size and you go bra-less it tends to hurt. Atleast it does for me. I'm heading towards a DD and I go bra-less at home but NEVER out in public. My boyrfiends mom NEVER wears a bra. Shes on the smaller size, but it just looks gross to me.

I wouldn't presume to tell anyone else what to do, but for me I will go braless in strapless dresses, tanks with shelfs, or anything where the girls won't be swaying. Hanging loose in a t-shirt is for home only. But that's just me. I hate wearing a bra and it's usually the first thing I take off when I get home.

I can't vote in the poll because I'm not quite sure how I feel, but I know that I can't leave the house without a bra. I feel naked. I'm only a B-cup.

On occasion I go braless depending on the shirt and I wear a C-D. Often the shirt offers some level of support. It doesn't matter to me if a women goes braless or not as long as she feels comfortable and nothing is visibly hanging out in public.

i only recently bought one. it's basically a sports bra with shaped very lightly padded cups and bra straps. even that bugs me sometimes. too tight. i dont like to feel restrained.

my girls are small enough that it doesnt matter anyhow.

i only bought the bra minutes after walking down the street in one of my favorite white cotton dresses and a homeless man LEERING at me and making disgusting comments about my nipples (they were pierced at one time and now i have PERMA THO) and i was so horrified i went to the next store and bought a bra immediately.

Actually.. bras make you saggier because it's like wearing your arm in a sling...

check out brafee dot org

I stopped wearing bras 2 years ago and I'm never going back! From the site:

"'But I wear a bra so my breasts won't sag...'

Sorry, bras might make your breasts sag more.

You have ligaments in your breasts. They are designed to hold your breasts up. If you wear a bra for years - or, worse yet, wear a bra 24 hours a day for years - these ligaments will atrophy (get weaker and smaller).

The good news: If you stop wearing a bra these ligaments should get stronger and you should find your breasts perkier within about about three months.

Even if you have huge breasts...

Even if you have huge breasts, you should see significant improvement.

But, you say, someone told you that breasts don't have ligaments. Not so.

In nearly a quarter-century of watching patients free their breasts from artificial supports, I've personally seen the results. Try it.

If you stop wearing a bra, you may have temporary breast pain

Some women who throw their bras away find that they have increased breast pain for a few days. This is most common among women with larger breasts. Give your breasts more time to adjust to being bra free."
