Probably because of sells and share popularity of an item. Unfortunately that includes some items I was looking at that are out of stock.

Most of the SpareParts and Jaguar harnesses are out of stock. I'd have had one in my most recent order otherwise. I'm definitely getting a Deuce for the bf, and haven't decided yet between the Joque or the Theo or the Jaguar G for myself - which means I probably need all three.

It's not quite 8am though, so I'll be having some breakfast now.

It's out of stock because so many of us are trying to get our hands on it (like the We-Vibe 3 that is NEVER in stock when I can afford it) OR...the product has been discontinued or the like (I reviewed one toy that was available for all of about a week I think...after many "bad" reviews, the item was "pulled" (or so I suspect since that's about when it went "out of stock").

I think Eden might be managing it's stock much tighter. I contacted one of the toy makers directly and they said that even though there is interest in the toy, Eden hasn't re-ordered. I'm starting to shop other sites now, even though i love it here.

Losing potential buyers to other sites because of low stock is just bad business practice.

Part of it could be that they keep old items up to see if there's enough interest to justify reordering.

It really depends on the item I think. I know certain toys get replenished pretty regularly but a number of the more expensive ones tend to take a bit longer to restock.

Been wondering myself. All the things I want are out of stock! With all the great promotions, sales, freebies, etc people are buying like crazy and I don't think they can keep up with it. I patiently wait for what I want to come back in stock. One thing I wanted did and like a day later it was already gone
